Description Overview Resistance type buttwelder for welding operations. Produces a burr or lump of material at the weld joint. Burr is ground or filed off to achieve the same diameter as the parent wire. Final cleanliness and scar-free appearance depend on operator skill during grinding or filing. Comparison with heat pressure welder Burr-free buttwelds require a different type of welder, such as a heat pressure welder. Heat pressure welder uses special dies and clamps to produce almost burr-free buttwelds. New heat pressure welders can cost more than 20 times the price of the quoted unit. Used heat pressure welders, if available, can times the price of the used reconditioned welder offered. Included documentation Brochure page attached describing the differences between the two types of welders.
