Used by the bedding and curtain industries, home textiles industries, mattress manufacturers, sheet manufacturers, and volume panel cutting
Benefits
One person operation
Easy and quick loading
De-skills cutting operation
Flexibility and efficiency
Accurate lengths save fabric
Batching saves time
Multiple ply cutting
Roll, flat or folded input
Pre-hemmed bin input
Robust, ergonomic and space saving design
Advantages
Single person operation; during automatic cutting the operator is free for other jobs
Accepts rolls, flat (1, 2 and 4 fold) from pallets and pre-hemmed from bins, single and multiple plies
Automatic stacking and batching; removable stacking bars
Simple and flexible plc programming de-skills the cutting operation; built in counters for total material consumption and number of cuts
Conveyor belt fed delivery of material to cutting box; reduces stretch and distortion; wrinkles are gently pulled out due to differential belt speeds
Reverse and re-roll for part roll cutting and fault cutting
Automatic loading relieves operation fatigue
Controls
The controls are well laid out and simple to operate; many safety and operational features are built into the microprocessor; this aids operators to quickly learn how to set varying lengths and batches

Operation
The panel length and number per batch are entered into the plc screen and stacking bar timer adjusted to suit; if fitted, the vertical slitter positions are adjusted for selvedge/centre/multiple slitting; material is loaded in "manual" mode and a trim cut made, prior to selecting "auto" operation; halfway through each panel feed the stacker bar swings over so an even amount of material is draped on both sides of the stacker bar
When nearing the exact length the rate of feed automatically slows to allow stopping at the exact length; the cutting box closes (for safety) and grips the fabric top and bottom whilst the powerful bi-directional cross-cutter traverses
The panel cut 3000 can be interrupted anytime for fault cutting; in this case only completed full length panels will be counted by the batch counter
After the batch is complete or the machine runs out of cloth, the machine stops; the operator presses the "unload" button to move the batch bar to a waiting station and load a new bar from a magazine; the auto-cut cycle is re-started
