PLC controlling system
This continuous foam plant mainly produces flexible PU foam, it is controlled with touch screen PLC system (OMRON brand), highly automatized, low waste percentages and easy to operate.
This kind of foam can be used widely in furniture, garment, toy, bra, shoe, mattress and car cushion.

Control and Operation
One PLC computer system
Nine pneumatic valves
Two skilled and well trained workers can operate this machine
One worker at the machine top to operate the cutting and pneumatic process, the other worker at the machine bottom to operate all the chemical flow feeds and lift speed
One or two extra worker to deliver the foam blocks to warehouse
20 kW electrical consumption in total per hour, however, daily this machine can work only 1 or 2 hours being enough for the production capacity
Production and Loss Details
The average loss percentage is about 10-12%, it includes chemical loss (sticks on the surface of drum or remaining in the drum), foam process loss (foam block head and foam block end), foam peeling process loss (block surface loss), and gas loss.
This depends on the density. If you produce high density, you don’t need to use M.C, so the loss is less, if you produce low density, you will use more M.C, and so the loss will be more.
For example, if you produce 13 density, then the total loss will be about 20%.
If you want to make about 40 foam blocks, and the foam blocks height is 2 m height, you will need to put about 80 m length plastic
The plastic is special plastic, it is very strong and heat resistant, and the plastic thickness is about 0.08 mm
During the production, power (foam filling) can be done according to requirement
For example: 1 kg polyol and 0.5 kg powder, or 1 kg polyol and 0.8 kg powder, or 1 kg polyol and 1 kg powder
Production 1000 to 5000 kgs per hour depending on density (with 1500 mm diameter)
