The system produces two product streams: metallic lead, separator, lead oxide paste; and polypropylene.
Equipment constructed out of 304 stainless steel.
Equipment paint color RAL-5014 (pigeon blue) for any carbon steel components.
Safety guards RAL-1018 (zinc yellow).
Electrical: 200 hp total.

Breaking And Separation Equipment Included
Horizontal loading conveyor: 24” wide belt conveyor, constructed of 304 stainless steel, specialty drive and idle pulleys, and a heavy duty gear reduction unit.
Inclined belt conveyor: 24” wide inclined belt conveyor, constructed of 304 stainless steel, specialty drive and idle pulleys, variable speed drive controlled heavy duty gear motor, and electrolyte collection and drain tray.
Battery crusher: battery hammer mill constructed out of heavy 304 stainless steel plate, specialty hammer shaft assembly with brs alloy hammer shafts for longevity vs traditional stainless steel. Includes a heavy duty motor, sheave and belt drive system, and guarding.
Crusher discharge screw conveyor: screw conveyor constructed out of 304 stainless steel, with a heavy wall pipe and welded stainless steel flights. Solid stainless steel shaft ends with a direct drive gear reduction unit.
Material classification tank #1 & #2: constructed out of 304 stainless steel. Includes a paddle agitation system which moves the polypropylene to the back of the tank, where it is collected and discharged by a screw conveyor. The lead, separator, and heavy plastics sink and are conveyed by a different screw conveyor to a discharge point in the front of the classification tank. Includes heavy duty gear motor, guarding, and stainless steel sprockets and heavy duty chain for the paddle drive system.
Recirculation pump: recirculates the liquid within the system, and is used to cool the battery crusher hammer shaft.
Sedimentation tank: cylindrical, 304 stainless steel tank with a center collection trough, and a v-notch clarification system to assist in removing solids before transferring to the acid storage tank.
Acid storage tank: cylindrical, 304 stainless steel tank that collects the clarified liquid from the sedimentation tank.
Fully automatic control panel: the system is controlled by a fully automatic, allen bradley plc and hmi. This includes fully system diagnostics, current system running parameters of each motor, and all motors are controlled off variable speed drives for flexibility and system optimization. System has the option to be integrated with the wirtz remote connection package, which will allow the wirtz technical staff to troubleshoot the system for a quick resolution to minimize system downtime.
