Range Drive System
The range is driven by Siemens-Westinghouse variable speed AC drive system using their model 6SE70 inverters and controlled through an OP25 user interface.
Speed references, run permissives and e-stops are wired through a Simatic TI555 PLC.

8 dye boxes connected via 2 circulation systems: one for indigo and one for sulphur.
5 of the dye boxes are equipped only with indigo dye circulation flow meter transmitters; the remaining 3 boxes are equipped as follows: feed water system with flow and temperature control using 3-way blend valve with I to P, flow meter transmitter, flow control valve with I to P and RTD/temperature transmitter; automatic steam-operated box temperature control with automatic steam valve I to P and RTD/temperature transmitter; bubbler-type level pressure transmitter (dye boxes 4 and 8 only); indigo circulation flow meter/transmitter.
3 post washers each include: feed water system with flow and temperature control using 3-way blend valve with I to P, flow meter transmitter, flow control valve with I to P and RTD/temperature transmitter; automatic steam-operated box temperature control with automatic steam valve I to P and RTD/temperature transmitter.

Sulphur circulation system: 1 each 5 HP pump, capable of producing a maximum flow rate of 20000 liters per hour, controlled by Siemens VSAC drive.
Metering Pumps
Indigo metering: 2 each Milton-Royal metering pumps, 2 HP, each capable of delivering up to 907 liters per hour.
Sulphur metering: 2 each Milton-Royal metering pumps, 2 HP, each capable of delivering up to 907 liters per hour.
Caustic metering: 2 each Milton-Royal metering pumps, 2 HP, each capable of delivering up to 291 liters per hour.
