Description Software And Operation Software is easy to use and comes with full instructions in the user manual. Demo is not available without a working unit; no completed units are currently in the factory. Snapshots of the software in use are available. Tech assistance can be provided to help with setup if necessary. Computer Requirements Computer is not supplied with the machine. Any decent laptop will work. Machine includes a cable to connect to a computer and download data. Sample Preparation Sample preparation is fairly standard. Machine comes with two cutting templates: one for the sled and one for the moving plane. Samples are cut using the templates and attached to the machine before testing. The process is defined in the instruction manual. Calibration Calibration instructions are provided in the manual. Calibration is recommended once per year. To check calibration, mount the machine vertically with the load shaft pointing downwards. Hang a weight (max 1000 g) from the digital force gauge. Compare the known mass of the weight with the reading on the digital force indicator. If there is significant variance, contact for calibration.
