Overview

1. Designed to cut and seal a range of textiles with accuracy.

2. Clean edges are achieved by fusing them using sound waves, ensuring no fraying unlike laser which creates fibre bundles or beads that eventually break off during wear and washing then fraying will occur.

3. Ultrasonic applications do not require any additives in the bonding area.

4. The concentrated focus of energy allows optimum use, therefore minimising energy loss.

5. The system is environmentally friendly as it uses heat generated via high-frequency mechanical oscillations produced between the component as a result of molecular friction and boundary friction.

6. The system is clean and safe with no emissions of cutting fumes such as smoke or toxic fumes from textiles.
