ABC, 16DZC, 2013, 16MW, Dual Fuel, Containerized Generator Set

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Six units of surplus new ABC 16mw dual fuel containerized gensets from 2013-2014.
    2. Each unit is a 2.66 mw ABC dual fuel genset (natural gas – diesel) in a 45 ft container.
    3. Rated at 1000 rpm, 50 hz, 10.5 kv.
    4. Stationary cogeneration unit rated 2660 kw / 3325 kva in container.
    5. Three-phase ac power rating: 10.500 v / 50 hz.
  2. Container Specifications
    1. New built standard 45 ft (length) extra high cube container (height is 3.200 mm).
    2. Container stackable at all sides.
    3. No part or modified part of the container will exceed the outside corner castings in any direction.
    4. Inside container provided with 80 mm rockwool isolation with perforated aluminium sheet.
    5. Drip pan to contain 120% containment of all liquids as lube-oil, cooling water and fuel, with three drains.
    6. Engine room personal door on both sides with flush mounted slam shut type door handles, interior panic release handles.
    7. Separate engine compartment.
    8. All nuts are lock nuts to reduce hardware from vibrating loose.
    9. Existing container door at the back side.
    10. Four off earthing studs (stainless steel) outside the container.
    11. Partly dismountable roof to have the possibility to dismount engine, generator and silencer in parts, or genset in one piece.
    12. Access doors at both sides of the container.
    13. Two times large inspection / maintenance doors at engine side.
  3. Dual Fuel Engine Description
    1. See attached abc data sheet a-1180/16dzc.
    2. Generator description: see attached engga datasheet 630-2600g-6-10500.
    3. Continuous power: 2.800 kw.
  4. Air Inlet And Outlet
    1. Air inlet at the back roof of the container, at generator set.
    2. Air outlet on the front roof of the container, with electrical fan with a capacity of 18 kw.
    3. Both air ducts are provided with electrical shutters, to avoid rain and snow coming in when the unit is not running.
    4. The engine compartment cooling system will be sized for a maximum ambient temperature of Δt of 15 °c above ambient temperature.
  5. Gas System
    1. Container will be provided with a transfer flange, 3-inch.
    2. Piping from exterior connection to gas train will be out of stainless steel.
    3. Special pipe with automatic valve in vent line to exterior, in case of emergency (as stated in russian law).
    4. The engine will be provided with a 3-inch gas train, provided with: gas filter, main valve, filter, pressure regulator, double solenoid valve.
  6. Air Exhaust System
    1. Piping between exhaust gas heat exchanger and exhaust silencer will be provided with a stainless steel fitting.
    2. Piping will be provided with rockwool blankets.
    3. The exhaust air will exit the container through one large pipe in order to reduce the air exhaust speed.
    4. Outlet muffler out of stainless steel and provided with a condensate drain.
    5. The exhaust air outlet will be provided with a stainless steel rain cap against rain.
  7. Heat Recovery
    1. In front of the engine, at the side of the large doors, will be all coolers etc. built for chp-part.
    2. Heat recovery of jacket water will be done by plate heat exchanger.
    3. Heat recovery of intercooler will be done by separate heat exchanger.
    4. Heat recovery of exhaust gases will be done by tube heat exchanger out of stainless steel with fixed tubes.
    5. All necessary pumps, valves, thermostat valves, three-way valves and safety valves are in the system.
    6. All needed piping between coolers and engine will be made out of carbon steel.
    7. Piping between exhaust cooler and muffler will be made out of stainless steel.
    8. Customer piping from coolers to customer will be made out of carbon steel and delivered until flanges at container wall.
    9. Customer choice for three different systems: system i: jacket water; 825 kwth / 90-78 °c; system ii: exhaust water; 750 kwth / 90-78 °c; system iii: intercooler 2nd stage: 200 kwth / 35-40 °c. System i and system ii can also be combined to one system, and system iii to a separate system.
    10. All data by maximum electrical output. See attached abc datasheet a-1180/16dzc.
  8. Vibration Reducer
    1. The floor of the container must be defined to have a good repartition of the weight.
    2. Mounting of anti-vibration mounts under the genset.
    3. All connections for oil, fuel and water connections will be flexible connections.
  9. Electrical
    1. Adequate dc fluorescent light with industrial-grade polycarbonate with timer switches adjacent to personal door.
    2. 185 amp driesser (or equal) 4-pole lsi motorized breaker accessory 220 vac, motorized breaker for unit output and paralleling with another engine. Connection between the two engines on copper bus bar.
    3. Controls enclosure to be water tight.
    4. Shut off avr at idle speed.
    5. External emergency stop button on each side of the container and on the control panel, adjacent to the personal doors.
    6. Batteries will be able to start the engine, battery capacity for five start attempts minimum.
    7. Long live totally maintenance free sealed batteries.
  10. Control Functions
    1. Engine control: fuel solenoid control; engine starter control; kva controller cool-down timer; oil pressure monitoring; water temperature monitoring; battery voltage monitoring; speed monitoring with over speed protection.
    2. Engine protective features: high / low coolant temperature; high / low oil pressure; over speed; start failure.
    3. Synchronizing: digital signal processing to eliminate harmonic issues; adjustable phase window, voltage window and dwell times; safe dead bus closing logic internal to the control; synchronization across generator and main breaker; multiple shot re-closing with adjustable time delays.
    4. Real (kw) load control: true rms power calculations accurate control; configurable loading/unloading ramp rates; isochronously load-sharing of up to eight units using percentage based load sharing; base load control for optimum fuel efficiency; import / export control using a watt transducer; soft utility transport function; externally adjustable base load of process reference levels with independent ramp rates; kw droop provided for manual load control.
    5. Reactive (kvar) control: var sharing on isolated bussed using percentage based reactive load sharing; power factor of var control when base loaded; externally adjustable var or pf set point levels.
    6. Automatic generator sequencing: automatically starts and stops genset, based on plant bus or process demand; configurable plant bus demand starts/stop levels and timers.
    7. Generator protective features: over / under voltage; over / under frequency; reverse power (inverse time delay); loss of excitation; over current (inverse time delay); loss of utility power detection; speed / frequency mismatch; load surge.
    8. Communications: modbus or dde communications via rs-232 based serial port; rs485 egcp to egcp load-sharing communications network.
    9. Power output connections: copper busbar; the connectors in a special case on backside of the unit and hidden behind doors, which can be closed during running the engines, without disconnecting the cables.
  11. Container Finish
    1. Container shot-blasted and sprayed in one (1) finish colour.
