Dekken, T-Fold Max, New Generation Towel Folder, 4 Lateral Folds, 3 Cross Folds, Max 2200x1500mm (New)

Description

  1. Overview
    1. The T-fold Max New Generation is a flexible combination towel folder capable of producing all fold presentations on the market.
    2. Its modular design keeps it totally flexible for future needs.
    3. The machine is a 100% fully new redesigned model with a new computerized electronic control panel that simplifies setup time.
    4. It can work as a stand-alone unit or combined with sewing or packing automates.
    5. It comprises up to four lateral folds, three cross folds, and two stackers.
    6. Models available: T-fold Max 3x2 (3 lateral folds, 2 cross folds), T-fold Max 4x3 (4 lateral folds, 3 cross folds), and other combinations from 3x0.
  2. Operation
    1. An operator places the piece onto the infeed conveyor.
    2. The conveyor belt can be selected between three running modes: automatic start, automatic start after pressing a push button, automatic start after infeed sensor is covered, or continuously running.
    3. The piece is automatically measured by sensors and then automatically folded and sorted onto the dedicated stacker station.
    4. After the preset stack height is achieved, the pile with folded pieces is put onto the final incline conveyor belt.
    5. The quality stop feature allows complicated pieces to make an additional stop for rear end (trailing edge) correction.
    6. The T-max can fold pieces up to maximum dimensions of 2200 x 1500 mm.
  3. Cross Fold Principle
    1. After lateral folds are made and the piece is positioned for best presentation, it enters the cross fold section.
    2. The cross fold section is in line with the lateral fold section, avoiding a perpendicular turning unit.
    3. Cross folds are made by position controlled folding templates in combination with mechanical blades.
    4. Once the piece enters the cross fold section, the length (and possibly width) is measured and the folding templates are automatically adjusted.
    5. Once the towel is completely in the cross fold section, a high accuracy blade carries out 1, 2, or 3 folds.
    6. Bypassing the cross fold section is possible.
    7. The T-fold Max requires only a third of the floor space compared with traditional folding machines and can handle pieces up to 220 cm.
  4. Lateral Fold Principle
    1. After the towel is fed, the piece enters the lateral fold section.
    2. Up to 4 lateral folds can be made, offering all kinds of folding patterns required nowadays.
    3. Folds are made by air assisted reversing belts to secure stable and high quality folds.
    4. Tight folded pieces are obtained as pieces are continuously kept between belts.
    5. The elastic belts ensure that the cross fold automatically adapts on thin as well as thick pieces.
  5. Sorting and Stacking Principle
    1. After the folding process, the various kinds of towels can be sorted out on one of the stacker stations.
    2. The T-fold Max can be provided with up to 2 stacker stations, allowing the operator to feed 2 different sized towels (mixed) which are folded and sorted out over the stacker stations.
    3. Once the required stack height is achieved, the stack is put on the final incline.
    4. The stack is brought onto the final incline belt by means of a roll-off stacker station.
    5. Highest folding quality is provided by the lifting incline belt.
  6. Features
    1. 100% new redesigned machine.
    2. All folds are in-line, no perpendicular folding units needed, ensuring simple and compact machine design.
    3. Setup time reduced to the (T-fold) max and easy to use operator terminal.
    4. Modular design (easy upgradable to all future needs).
    5. Standalone unit or in-line with sewing and/or packing automates.
    6. Up to 4 lateral folds.
    7. Up to 3 cross folds.
    8. Up to 2 stacker stations.
    9. Final incline belt delivering folded piece on left or right hand side of the machine.
  7. Control System
    1. The T-fold Max has a color touchscreen with utmost simple layout.
    2. No experience is needed to adapt or create a new folding program.
    3. Machine is controlled by PLC, offering highest reliability.
    4. Up to 50 different folding programs can be made, each able to fold 2 different pieces.
