Description

  1. Overview
    1. Stationary cogeneration unit 2000 kW / 2500 kVA continuous

  2. Container Performance
    1. New built standard 40 ft (2 x 20 ft) high cube ISO sound attenuated container
    2. Containers stackable at all sides
    3. No part or modified part of the container will exceed the ISO outside corner castings in any direction
    4. Inside container provided with 80 mm rockwool isolation with perforated aluminium sheet
    5. Drip-pan to contain 120% containment of all liquids as lube-oil, cooling water and fuel, with three drains
    6. Engine room personal door on both sides with flush mounted slam shut type door handles, interior panic release handles
    7. Separate engine compartment
    8. All nuts are lock nuts to reduce hardware from vibrating loose
    9. Existing container door at the back side
    10. 4 off earthing studs (stainless steel) outside the container
    11. Partly dismountable roof to have the possibility to dismount engine, generator and silencer in parts, or genset in 1 piece
    12. Access doors at both sides of the container
    13. 2 times large inspection / maintenance doors at engine side
  3. Gas Engine Description

  4. Air Inlet And Outlet
    1. Air inlet and outlet on top of container by means of air ducts (as delivered earlier)
    2. Every duct made out of galvanised bended steel plate. Dimensions: L x W x H = 2000 x 2200 x 2500 mm
    3. Air inlet at the back roof of the container, at generator set
    4. Air outlet on the front roof of the container, with electrical fan with a capacity of 18 kW
    5. Both air ducts are provided with electrical shutters, to avoid rain and snow coming in when the unit is not running
    6. The engine compartment cooling system will be sized for a maximum ambient temperature of ΔT of 15 °C above ambient temperature
  5. Gas System
    1. Container will be provided with a transfer flange, 3-inch
    2. Piping from exterior connection to gas train will be out of stainless steel
    3. Special pipe with automatic valve in vent line to exterior, in case of emergency (as stated in Russian law)
    4. The engine will be provided with a 3-inch gas train, provided with: gas filter, main valve, filter, pressure regulator, double solenoid valve
  6. Air Exhaust System
    1. Piping between exhaust gas heat exchanger and exhaust silencer will be provided with a stainless steel fitting
    2. Piping will be provided with rockwool blankets
    3. The exhaust air will exit the container through one large pipe in order to reduce the air exhaust speed
    4. Outlet muffler out of stainless steel and provided with a condensate drain
    5. The exhaust air outlet will be provided with a stainless steel rain cap against rain
    6. Exhaust silencers equipped with lifting eyes to facilitate disassembling
    7. Exhaust silencers mounted inside the container on the container bottom
  7. Vibration Reducer
    1. The floor of the container must be defined to have a good repartition of the weight
    2. Mounting of anti-vibration mounts under the genset
    3. All connections for oil, fuel and water connections will be flexible connections
  8. Electrical
    1. Adequate DC fluorescent light with industrial-grade polycarbonate with timer switches adjacent to personal door
    2. 4000 amp ABB (or equal) 4-pole LSI motorized breaker accessory 220 VAC, motorized breaker for unit output and paralleling with another engine. Connection between the two engines on copper busbar
    3. Controls enclosure to be water tight
    4. Shut off AVR at idle speed
    5. External emergency stop button on each side of the container and on the control panel, adjacent to the personal doors
    6. Batteries will be able to start the engine, battery capacity for five start attempts minimum
