Feeding Zone
A specially designed feeding zone incorporates a suitable structure fabricated from heavy steel sections to support the conveyor guide rollers and the conveyor centering mechanism
A draw roller is provided to draw the fabric from the trolleys / pallets and overfeed the fabric onto the conveyor
Draw roller drive is derived from a separate inverter controlled AC variable speed motor so as to permit overfeed up to 40%
Unit is designed to feed two / three or more tubes side by side
Dryer
Modular construction, 11.7 meters long dryer consists of 6 chambers each 1.8 meters long and 1 dwell section of 0.9 meter length, delivered pre-assembled for quick and easy installation with closed circuit air circulation system, designed for tensionless drying with a possibility to shrink woven and knitted (tubular and open) fabrics
Each chamber consists of a strong and sturdy steel frame made of standard steel sections
The insulating panels all around insulated by 100 mm thick mineral wool best quality insulating material and suitable for maximum 220°C operating temperature
Top and bottom insulation is with 80 mm thick mineral wool
There is air tight sealing between the panel doors and frame
High efficiency radial blowers made from special steel and dynamically balanced are provided to circulate the air inside the dryer
Inverter controlled AC motor is directly coupled to the blower to avoid loss of efficiency (one inverter per chamber)
One pair jet nozzle element with adequate number of openings for blowing air from both top and bottom of the fabric in each chamber
Equipped with special nozzles connected with main blowers through well designed, closed circuit air circulation system
One duct is provided to deliver air from the heat exchanger to the jet nozzle through the blower
A simple provision is made for nozzle cleaning without removing the nozzles
Necessary conveyor guide rods are provided at regular intervals to support the conveyors
Heat Exchangers
The machine is equipped with an indirect heating system with heat exchangers for heating air
Well designed helically wound finned tube type heat exchangers (one for each chamber) permits maximum heat transfer efficiency
Heat exchangers offered are for high pressure dry saturated steam at not less than 6 / 6.5 bar pressure
Heat exchanger design permits maximum temperature up to 140/155°C with dry saturated steam
All steam and condensate line accessories, valves and pipeline are not included in our supply
Lint Screens
To filter out the lint circulating in the chamber are arranged on the suction side in front of the heat exchangers
The screens can be pulled out for cleaning during the operation of the machine
Adjustment Of Air Flow To Upper And Lower Jet Nozzles
Each chamber is provided with 2 manually controlled dampers to control the distribution of the airflow to upper and lower jet nozzles
Automatic Shut Off
The air circulation fans shut off automatically in case the conveyor is stopped
Temperature Control
1 temperature indicator with PT 100 sensor is provided per 2 chambers to control the drying temperature
Control valves can be offered at extra cost
Conveyor
One teflon-glass belt
This conveyor (transport conveyor) takes up the fabric in small loops
Conveyor is suitable for temperature application up to 220°C and air permeability up to 30,000 to 40,000 m³/hr
Conveyor Centering Device
Pneumatically operated, with edge sensors for the automatic centering of the conveyor
A back up sensor is provided to prevent damage to the conveyor in case of failure of the main sensor
Exhaust
The machine is provided with a small blower with suitable ducting
