Strema, DC96, Cotton Pad Manufacturing Machine, 3 Punch, 810 Pads per Minute (New)

Description

  1. Overview
    1. The main machine that manufactures the pads is basically a punching system.
    2. Each stroke cuts 4 pieces of 57 mm [2.24”] round pads from a cotton web 245 mm wide.
    3. The packaging machine is a foil bag automatic packaging system able to count pads, produce stacks of pads, insert them into each foil bag and seal the bag.
    4. The manufacturing machine and the packaging machine are connected by tubes between the two machines.
  2. Accessories Included
    1. Each machine is fitted with customized mold (die-track) plus packaging chutes based on the shape of the pad.
    2. The packaging machine has customized tubes fitting accordingly.
  3. Input Material Specifications
    1. Material: 100% cotton, 100% synthetic fibers, mixed fibers.
    2. Process: hydro-entangling.
    3. Surface: stable weight and thickness.
    4. Width: 195 (3-punch die-cut) ÷ 245 mm (4-punch die-cut), tolerance range ± 3 mm.
    5. Room humidity: about 60%.
    6. Fiber length: to be advised.
    7. Weight, weight tolerance, thickness, thickness tolerance, and reel length options:
      1. 180 g/sm, 7% tolerance, 2.2 mm thickness, ± 0.2 mm tolerance, 600 meters reel length.
      2. 190 g/sm, 7% tolerance, 2.3 mm thickness, ± 0.2 mm tolerance, 600 meters reel length.
      3. 200 g/sm, 7% tolerance, 2.5 mm thickness, ± 0.2 mm tolerance, 550 meters reel length.
    8. Reel diameter 1100 ÷ 1200 mm with carton core roll by inward diameter size 32 ÷ 80 mm, 200 mm thick.
    9. The weight of a reel diameter 550 mm is 22 ÷ 25 kg.
    10. Transport over pallet.
    11. Folded over pallet sizes 1040 mm x 1070 mm x 1150h mm, weight about 165 kg.
    12. This kind of packaging is more convenient because it considerably reduces the time committed to material replacement.
  4. Useful Information
    1. The weight of one linear meter of cotton web 195 mm wide is 38 grams.
    2. About 47 round pads diameter 57 mm can be produced by 1 linear meter of web.
    3. About 1252 round pads diameter 57 mm can be drawn from 1 kg of cotton web 195 mm wide.
    4. Wasted trim is about 36%.
  5. Non-Tolerated Defects
    1. Flexible weight.
    2. Flexible thickness.
    3. Poor compactness caused by web’s sliding fibers or sliding layers.
    4. Excessive humidity.
    5. Poor humidity.
  6. Foil Bags
    1. Material: Polyethylene (PE).
    2. Bag thickness: 0.050 mm.
    3. Foil bag sizes change in relation to the same quantity of inserted cotton pads.
    4. The bag’s different sizes fix the product compactness and compression level inside the packaging due to cotton’s fluffy and elastic properties.
    5. Bags are usually colorless or with printed names/drawings in different colors (maximum 6 colors).
