Description

  1. Overview
    1. Air flow tester used for monitoring the porosity of flexible cellular polyurethane.
    2. Determines how easily air passes through a cellular structure.
    3. Airflow values may be used as an indirect measurement of certain cell structure characteristics.
    4. Machine made with reference to international standards for measurement of a flexible cellular test piece, 50 mm x 50 mm x 25 mm, placed in a vacuum chamber cavity with a specified automatic constant differential air pressure applied.
    5. Pa pressure can be digitally set on the display; once the FPT reaches the Pa automatically, the rate of airflow at the set Pa is locked in and held on the flow display, automatically completing a test in seconds.
    6. Designed as per standard ASTM D test G.

  3. Display Screen
    1. Test screen has start and stop touch buttons and also the set up button for testing.
    2. Displays the pre-set Pa pressure and automatically the real time pressure as the FPT automatically increases to its set point.
    3. Once reaching the set point, after 2 seconds, it will hold the flow reading on the display.
  4. Result Report
    1. After locking the stable reading for 2 seconds, the test result screen will be displayed automatically showing results, time, date, and serial number of the instrument used.
    2. This information can also be exported via USB.
