Overview
Portable foam compression unit
Measures foam density and foam hardness for quality control in furniture, bedding, and automotive products
Uses industry-recognized test procedures: ild (indentation load deflection) or cld (compression load deflection)
Test process: measures sample thickness (pre-load), compresses three times to 30% of original thickness (pre-flex) at defined speed, then compresses to 60% of original thickness and records force as hardness value in kilopascals (kpa)
