    3. Electrical noise: ensure that there are no electrical noise sources, such as large electrical motors, in the immediate vicinity
    4. Mechanical noise: the optical bench is installed on vibration dampeners; however, it is recommended that the NextGen Laserscan be placed on a stable, vibration free floor
    5. Dust: to prevent poor electrical contact and to reduce the possibility of airborne contaminants being included in the diameter distribution, it is recommended that the NextGen Laserscan is not operated in a dusty environment
    6. Circulating air: ensure that the back of the NextGen Laserscan is not close to a wall so that cooling air can flow freely in and out of the ventilation grills at rear; a clear space of at least 150 mm (6 inches) behind NextGen Laserscan is recommended
    7. Mains power: input AC 110/220/240 volts, 1.2 kW
