Description

  1. Overview

    1. Two barge-mounted power plants, each with a 127.8 mw combustion turbine package.

    2. Barge dimensions: L 300 ft x W 90 ft x D 14.8 ft (91.4 m x 27.4 m x 4.5 m).

    3. Built to BV (Bureau Veritas), or equal, marine classification society.

    4. Power barge will be securely moored to a mooring site, allowing for continuous year-round operation.

    5. All equipment suitable for outdoor installation and weather protected.

    6. Noise abatement measures included.

    7. Box beam foundation of a proven design for gas turbine application installed.

    8. Comprehensive fire and gas monitoring and protection system provided onboard.

    9. Power take-off structure and fuel connection to shore allowed for.

  2. Combustion Turbine

    1. Westinghouse W701DU design, built under license by Fiat Avio, upgraded from model TG50D5.

    2. Dual fuel capability: natural gas and liquid fuel of various types.

    3. Nominal power output: 127.8 mw.

    4. Heat rate: 2,664 kcal/kwh (10,565 btu/kwh) at ISO conditions, base load, dry, natural gas.

  3. Condition And History

    1. Turbine and generator package currently available.

    2. Previously installed in with 30,000 running hours completed.

    3. After dismantling, factory overhauled in 2009; zero hours rated and upgraded by the original manufacturer through Turbocare (Ethos Energy), a unit of the Siemens Group.

    4. All major parts renewed or replaced as per manufacturer requirements.

    5. Units ready for deployment and integration onto the power barge upon project confirmation.
