110 lb (50 kg) batch capacity automated washing system
Year 2009
480 V / 60 Hz / 3-phase electrics
All equipment is still affixed to original manufacturer shipping crates
Most pieces still have original clear protective covering
None of the equipment has been final assembled; remains in original condition from factory
Various equipment pieces have multiple component sections requiring assembly and interconnecting wiring
Condition
Equipment is in a stored condition with accumulation of normal dust and debris from many years of idle placement
General cleaning will restore the like-new appearance
In very few exceptions, there is slight accumulation of metal oxidation (rust) on certain surfaces
Two pieces of equipment were damaged due to proximity to a fire inside the storage facility in early 2016
Damaged items are limited to the dryer basket housing assembly (one component out of three required for a complete dryer) and the rear cabinet panels for the SPS control cabinet
Item 001: Powertrans Batch Tunnel Washer
Model PT 12-50
12 modules, combination single and double drum design
In general, the Powertrans is in good shape
Considerable oxidation evident on the drive chain and sprocket; will most likely require replacement prior to commissioning
Sprocket on the motor shaft will need replacement as well
Washer support wheels (4 total) did not show any visual damage upon inspection, but will require further investigation at commissioning
Dust and dirt on the stainless steel discharge scoop is surface matter only; removable with water and rubbing
Multiple rubber seals between modules will likely require replacement due to length of idle time without water in modules
Electronics need to be verified; system computer boards are equipped with a back-up battery that may be exhausted
Item 002: Powerpress Extractor
Model PP 10-50-40
40 bar, multiple programs, right side discharge
Appears to be in good condition upon visual inspection
Storage residue on the discharge belt; recommended to install a new one at commissioning
Verification of computer boards must be made
Requires hydraulic oil to operate; oil is used to lubricate the main hydraulic cylinder
Necessary to inspect seals within the tank and the cylinder prior to normal operation
Item 003: Pocket Loading Conveyor
Model PB 4-50
Inclined, 4-pocket, with weighing scale
Shows no sign of damage during storage
Shipping covers (visqueen) were pulled back to allow inspection
Conveyor remains on original shipping crates
Item 004: Powerdry System Dryers
Model D-120 GW-U
Gas heated dryers (2 total), dual batch design
Consist of three distinct components: basket housing assembly, burner assembly, and pedestal assembly
All Powerdry pedestal assemblies (3 total), basket housing assemblies (2 of 3), and burner assemblies (3 total) have been stored on original crates and covered in shipping visqueen
No damage to any based on visual inspection
Each dryer basket assembly housing has a control panel with operating controls; necessary to inspect control boards for functionality prior to commissioning
