Description Overview 95 mw wartsila power plant configured as below Plant was established on 27 December 2004 for the purpose of generating power and supplying steam to industrialists located in the zone Plant started commercial operations in 3 phases First phase started to operate in July 2006 with 4 motors (4 x 8.73 mwe), at a capacity of 34.9 mwe Plant capacity was increased to 52.4 mwe with the addition of two further motors (2 x 8.73 mwe) in August 2008 Plant achieved a total installed capacity of 94.2 mwe, addition of further 6 motors (6 x 6.97 mwe) in July 2009, having total of 12 gas motors Specifications Wartsila model #20v34sg x 8.73 mw = 52.4 mw Wartsila model #20v34sg x 6.97 mw = 41.82 mw
