Description

  1. Overview
    1. Design and manufacture principle: basic parameters conform to GB/T23505-2009 “Petroleum Drilling & Workover Rigs”.
    2. Main equipment, such as mast, substructure, crown block, traveling block, hook, swivel, rotary table, and mud pump, etc., are designed and manufactured as per relevant API specifications.
    3. Meet HSE requirement.
    4. Adopt PLC and digital communication technologies to realize integrated design of numerical control, electric control, pneumatic control, and communication.
    5. The rig will be operated normally under ambient temperature of -18 °C to +50°C and humidity ≤90% (+20 °C).

  3. Overall Technical Scheme and Arrangement
    1. Four Caterpillar 3512B diesel engine generator sets are combined to generate 3 phase 600 V 50 Hz alternating current, which is supplied for five CR cubicles and for 380 V MCC system via 1250 kVA main transformer. 3 phase 600 V 50 Hz alternating current changes to 0-750 V (adjustable) direct current after rectified by CR cubicles, and then drives DC motors of drawworks, rotary table, and mud pumps. The drawworks is driven by two DC motors; the rotary table is driven by one DC motor; and each mud pump is driven by two DC motors.
    2. “K” type mast and slingshot type substructure. The mast and substructure are installed on the ground and then raised by drawworks.
    3. The drawworks adopts hydraulic disc brake as main brake and water-cooled electromagnetic eddy current brake as auxiliary brake.
    4. The mud pumps use narrow V-belt transmission.
    5. The arrangement of rig meets safety and easy to install, dismantle, and maintain requirements.
    6. The rig consists of five areas: rig floor area, mud pump area, power and electric control area, fuel tank area, and solid control area.
    7. The rig floor area covers mast, substructure, drawworks, rotary table, hoisting equipment, hydraulic cathead, drill pipe power tong, air winch, driller’s cabin, dog houses, standpipe, rotary hose, and accessories, etc.
    8. The mud pump area includes three F-1600 mud pumps, high pressure mud manifold (double), and high pressure valve sets, etc.
    9. The power and electric control area covers four main diesel engine generator set houses, one auxiliary generator set house (c/w air purification plant) (five generator set houses are arranged in parallel), and CR/MCC room (vertical to generator set houses).
    10. Fuel tank area includes two fuel tanks (45 m³ + 55 m³), pumps, and pipelines, etc.
    11. Solid control area covers six mud tanks, solid control equipment, and water tanks (100 m³), etc.
  4. Detailed Specification of the Rig
    1. Mast, Substructure and Accessory Equipment
      1. Mast JJ450/45-K
        1. The mast is in compliance with API Spec 4F and labeled with API monogram.
        2. The mast is divided into five sections, which are connected by single and double pad eyes, and the back parts are connected by diagonal members and cross beams.
        3. The deadline anchor is installed inside the right section 1 of the mast. The supporting feet of mast locates on the rig floor.
        4. The mast is raised and lowered by the power of drawworks via A-frame. After the mast is erected, adjust the rear support of A-frame to realize front and back alignment to the well head, and add or reduce the shims at the support base to realize right and left alignment to the well head.
        5. The mast is equipped with case type straight ladder on each side. The left one is to crown block, and the right one is to the racking board.
        6. Type: “K” type.
        7. Max. hook load: 1,000,000 lbs (4,500 kN).

      2. Mast Accessories
        1. The mast is equipped with two raising lines (φ72 mm x 48255 mm), one balancing beam, one standpipe operating board, tong counter balance, deadline protector, fast line stabilizer, packaging and transporting frames (vertical), installation frames (two lower ones and one higher ones), and two frames for mounting section 1 of mast.
        2. A-frame is set with two hydraulic buffer cylinders.
      3. Racking Board
        1. A single racking board is equipped on the mast.
        2. The board is set with a safety escape gate (with safety chains) on the left, an inward opening safety gate at the entrance, and wind-break walls (three sides), which are dismountable.
        3. Finger beams are set with security chains, and inside handrails with toe boards.
      4. Air Winch JQH-5X48(Q)
        1. Pneumatic winch JQH-5X48 is a kind of single roller and manual operation winch, which takes piston pneumatic engine as driving force.
        2. Pneumatic winch JQH-5X48(Q) is a remote control air winch.
        3. They are mainly used for helping the derrick man to arrange the drill strings on racking board.
        4. Rated air pressure: 0.8 MPa; rated pull force: 5 kN; rated speed: 48 m/min; diameter of applicable wireline: 8 mm.
      5. Casing Stabbing Board QFT-200
        1. The pneumatic casing stabbing board adopts pneumatic power to carry the derrick man to a proper height from the rig floor for setting and centralizing casings.
        2. It is equipped with a protector for wireline and telescoping protecting handrails, etc.

        1. JZG41 deadline anchor conforms to API Spec 8A.
        2. It is installed at the bottom of right section 1 of the mast.
        3. It has pull sensor and uses jumper bar to prevent the wire line from tripping out.
