  3. Turbine Generator Performance Guarantee
    1. Skinner guarantees the steam turbine generator package will produce electrical power at the steam conditions set forth above in the amount specified on the guaranteed output line
    2. This is the only performance guarantee made
    3. May be verified by a performance test as prescribed by Skinner and conducted by the purchaser within 90 days of start-up, or it is deemed waived and the guarantee met
    4. Any other performance data provided is predicted or estimated performance only and is not a guarantee or warranty
    5. The above performance guarantee is subject to the conditions, limitations and remedies set forth in the limited warranty provision of Skinner’s standard conditions of equipment sale (February 2005)
  4. Standard Turbine Scope
    1. Turbine exhaust casing is axially split for ease of maintenance, as are the two separate bearing housings and packing boxes
    2. Each turbine is standard fitted with independent mechanical overspeed trip mechanism, stainless steel steam strainer, carbon ring packing with stainless separators, sentinel warning valve, oil lubricated sleeve bearings, water cooled bearing housings, dynamically balanced rotor, standard commercial running test, high temperature paint, nameplate, and preparation for standard domestic shipment
    3. Turbine materials are WCB cast steel for case, steam chest, nozzle stands, trip cage, and steam chest head
    4. Blades are 410 stainless steel and shaft is 17-4 stainless steel
  5. Speed Control Valve
    1. Woodward 505 XT electronic governor for generator set applications, with pneumatically operated steam control flow valve to maintain correct speed of turbine
  6. Gear
    1. Single reduction parallel shaft speed reducer (Triveni), rated 1200 hp/894 kW with a 1.5 GMA SF minimum
    2. Turbine speed of 5000 rpm reduced to a synchronous generator speed of 1500 rpm
    3. Unit is equipped with babbitt bearings on high speed shaft and antifriction roller bearings on low speed shaft
  7. Lubrication System
    1. Integral lubrication system - a combined oil supply system designed to provide proper flow and temperature to gear mesh, gear bearings, and turbine bearings
    2. Includes reservoir and/or gear sump, filter, air cooled heat exchanger, oil pump driven by low speed gear shaft, full capacity auxiliary electric oil pump, local gauges, oil pressure switch, and oil temperature switch
    3. Lube system controls mounted in NEMA enclosure

    1. Base - “I” beam construction with turbine, gearbox and generator mounted and rough aligned; final alignment to be completed after installation of turbine on mounting pad and with all steam piping installed
