  3. Mechanical Descaling Machine
    1. Used for cleaning surface scale by bending through 2 sets of tungsten carbide rolls and brushes
    2. Process material: low carbon steel wire rod, high carbon steel wire rod
    3. Wire rod diameters: from 5.5 mm to 6.5 mm
    4. Descaling sections: 2 sections mutually perpendicular
    5. Descaling rollers: each section 3 rolls diameter 55 to 80 mm
    6. Rollers material: made of tungsten carbide
    7. Scale collection: scale collection bin is provided under each descaling section; each bin is equipped with wheels in order to remove it easily and empty the scale
    8. Guards: the unit is fully guarded, observing window is made up of steel wire mesh and plexiglass; guards are locked when wire rod is moving
  4. Brush Descaling Device
    1. Brush descaling device cannot remove scales completely, suggest using abrasive belt polishing machine
    2. Fine scale remove: four motors (1.5 kW) drive brushes rotating to clean remaining fine scale on wire surface
  5. Borax-Coating Device
    1. This device is separated to working tank and storage tank
    2. Equipped with a circulating pump 1.5 kW
    3. There are electric heating pipes winding on the bottom of storage tank, solution is heated by electric heating pipes
    4. The liquid volume is 600 l, if liquid level is lower than minimum volume 450 l, the level regulator will send an alarm to remind operator to add water or borax
    5. The whole tank is totally covered to avoid vaporization
    6. At the exit, there is a compressed air nozzle to remove redundant liquid on wire surface
  6. Drying Device
    1. Hot air blowing to dry wire surface, drying length is 3000 mm
    2. Electric heating wire to heat air, blowing to working pipe by blower; temperature is 100 degrees
    3. Heating power 36 kW, blower power 1.5 kW
  7. Straight Line Wire Drawing Machine
    1. Capstan quantity: 11
    2. Capstan diameter: 11 blocks diameter 600 mm
    3. Capstan material: cast steel, coated by tungsten carbide, coating height ≥ 120 mm, hardness ≥ hrc 65; capstan inner surface is coated with zinc-aluminum alloy to anti corruption; capstan and shaft core is connected and locked through taper hole; the radial run-out tolerance of drawing part ≤ 0.1 mm

  8. Instruction
    1. The whole line’s function can meet technology requirement
    2. Wire drawing machine has enclosed safety cover, with inspect window
    3. The cooling for electric control cabinet of wire drawing machine and take-up machine is by forced air cooling; there is a display for power supply, current, temperature, starting time and etc.
    4. Machine frame is welded structure, divide to three sections (4+4+3)
    5. Machine frame, electric control cabinet, die box, operation panel is 1-89 jade color, protection plate and bar is 1-18 yellow, rotating and moving parts are 1-18 yellow
    6. Operation direction: left or right
    7. Working environment: (summer) temperature 45 °c, relative humidity: 70%, dust capacity: moderate
    8. While machine is running, if the protection cover open, the machine will run at lower speed; protection close, recover to original speed (equipped with illumination on machine frame)
