  2. Design And Construction
    1. Finite element analysis code (ANSYS) used to design all aspects of the machines, enabling engineers to study vibration and stress on the main frame, needle beam, crankshaft, and connecting rods during operation.
    2. Frame is fabricated and after welding is stress relieved at 600° C before being machined.
    3. Fitted inside the frame at the top are the modules that make the movement for the needleboard(s).
    4. Driving of the flywheels is by helical gear reduction box that is lubricated by oil.
    5. Lubrication system is centralized and automatic.
  3. Adjustments And Controls
    1. Penetration and stripper plates are both adjustable independently by AC motors that drive a series of screw jacks, two for stripper and two for penetration.
    2. Level of stripper and penetration can be seen on the control panel.
    3. All adjustments are possible on the control panel via potentiometers and all levels can also be seen on PLC screen (brand and type to be fixed in agreement with customer).
  4. Drive And Safety
    1. Main drive is AC + inverter motor pulley driven to the reduction box.
    2. Needle loom fitted with safety devices to avoid accidents.
    3. Needle boards clamping is pneumatic.
  5. Feeding And Exit Systems
    1. Feeding system included.
    2. Exit system included.
    3. All looms are equipped with outlet rolls separated on their own frame; pneumatic cylinders adjustable in gap adjusting the clearance are used.
    4. All the feeding and exit systems are driven by AC motor with control frequency infinitely adjustable up to max speed requested.
