  1. Overview
    1. Labelstock / paper slitter rewinder with superior winding quality even at high speed.
    2. With centre surface capabilities the machine is able to wind with individual rewind stations, a full width differential rewind shaft, or with an airshaft.
    3. The shaftless or shafted rewinding system both utilise a linear tracking system away from the contract roller to give a perfect finished roll, in profile and tension.
    4. As with all Ashe machines, our vacuum roller is utilised on the machine to give perfect tension isolation and does not scratch or deform the most sensitive of labelstocks and papers.
    5. A range of options, such as automatic unloading systems are available on the machine with online roll wrapping and weighing.

  6. Operation: Webbing the Machine
    1. Position parent reel between the two unwind chucks, use the left and right movement buttons to insert chucks into ends of parent reel core. When both chucks are inserted up to end flanges, inflate with unwind chucks switch.
    2. Raise the unwind roll into the running position.
    3. Confirm that the rewind has been set, and that there are no arm not ready alarms.
    4. Disengage the razors to their fully retracted position and thread the web as shown in the threading diagram, through to, and up between, the rewind rolls.
    5. Fit a full width core into each rewind set and attach the web. Run the machine at slow speed, and when the web has aligned at the rewind, engage the knives. When the slit webs have reached the rewind, stop the machine.
    6. Run the machine, when satisfied with web alignment.
  7. Operation: Unloading
    1. Retract all arms (machine is interlocked).
    2. Rotate beams to unload using appropriate buttons.
    3. The rotation automatically stops when finished rolls touch the unloading trolley, floor or pallet.
    4. Unlock cores using switches on both arms.
    5. Rotate.
