Description

  1. Overview
    1. Siemens SGT200 co-generation plant
    2. QDR 70 gas turbine (Siemens)
    3. ZNGT boilers
    4. 6.75 MW
    5. 6.3 kV
    6. 50 Hz
    7. Natural gas
    8. Gas turbine installation and recovery boilers - cogeneration plant
    9. The cogeneration plant - Bacau chemical platform includes two cogeneration groups of 6.75 MW/group and 13 t/h steam/group (15 ATA, 240 °C), with an hourly natural gas consumption of 2,220 Nm³/group
    10. 95% of self-produced electricity was intended for the company's technological processes, and the rest was intended for delivery to SEN
    11. The thermal energy produced by cogeneration was intended exclusively for the technological needs of society
    12. After putting the new investment into operation, for the technological requirements of the platform, it is necessary to operate a C2A2 boiler in parallel with the cogeneration units to ensure the 100 ATA steam required for the urea installation (approx. 65 t/h)
    13. The new steam-electricity cogeneration facility will meet the requirements for energy efficiency and reduction of CO2 emissions
  2. Technical Data
    1. Each cogeneration group consists of: 1 set QDR 70, consisting mainly of: gas turbine SGT 200, reducer, electric generator. They are mounted in an insulated, soundproof case, together with the main auxiliary systems: the air suction and filtration system, the gas exhaust system, the ventilation system, the oil lubrication system for the gas turbine and for the generator, the natural gas combustion system, the fire extinguishing system, the starting system, the excitation system, the control system, measure and protection
    2. 1 recovery steam boiler, without additional combustion
    3. The technical parameters of the cogeneration groups are: QDR 70 set: nominal power 6750 kW, output voltage: 6.3 kV, frequency: 50 Hz, fuel: natural gas, natural gas consumption: 2,220 Nm³/h (for a single group)
    4. Recovery steam boiler: steam flow: 13 t/h, steam temperature: 240 °C, steam pressure: 1.6 MPa (16 bar) [1.5 MPa(g)]
    5. The SGT 200 gas turbines are supplied by Siemens England
    6. The operating regimes achieved by a cogeneration group are the following: temperature outer (°C), calorific power of natural gas (MJ/Nm³), electric power produced (kW), flow of natural gas consumed (Nm³/h), burned gas flow rate discharged from the turbine (kg/s), the temperature of the exhaust gases from the turbine (°C), steam output produced by the boiler (kg/h)
    7. At -30 °C outer temperature: 36.16 MJ/Nm³ calorific power, 7500 kW electric power, 2465 Nm³/h natural gas flow, 33 kg/s burned gas flow, 421 °C exhaust gas temperature, 12200 kg/h steam output
    8. At 15 °C outer temperature: 36.16 MJ/Nm³ calorific power, 6750 kW electric power, 2220 Nm³/h natural gas flow, 29.3 kg/s burned gas flow, 466 °C exhaust gas temperature, 13000 kg/h steam output
    9. At 40 °C outer temperature: 36.16 MJ/Nm³ calorific power, 5350 kW electric power, 1760 Nm³/h natural gas flow, 26 kg/s burned gas flow, 487 °C exhaust gas temperature, 12700 kg/h steam output
  3. Condition
    1. Hours on first unit: 98.38
    2. Starts on first unit: 23
    3. Hours on second unit: 85.38
    4. Starts on second unit: 27
    5. Year: 2010
  4. Included
    1. The two cogeneration groups are located outdoors, on their own foundations, surrounded by a concrete platform for access
    2. The burnt gases discharged from the gas turbine, with a temperature between 300 °C and 468 °C, are introduced into the steam recovery boiler; the boiler is without additional combustion. Finally, the gases from the boiler, with a temperature lower than 130 °C, are discharged into a chimney
    3. The two chimneys related to the recovery boilers are metal, self-supporting and have a height of 30,000 mm. The inside diameter at the top of a chimney is 2000 mm, respectively the inside diameter at the base is 3200 mm. Each chimney has a Ø2200 mm connection to the gas exhaust channels from the recovery boilers
    4. The instrumental air needed by the cogeneration units is produced by a new installation, made up of two air compressors, one in operation and one in reserve
    5. Gas turbine installations use natural gas as fuel, at a minimum pressure of 17 bar. Natural gas is taken from the system with a pressure of 6 bars and two gas compressors are used to raise the pressure to 17 bars, one supplied by Eltacon, currently mounted on the position and one supplied by TCM Italia (defective during technological tests and sent for repair or replacement)
    6. The feed water of the two steam boilers is the demineralized water provided from the existing installations at Amurco, with a pH >7. Dosing with Helamin will be done in the feed water collector for correction, in the suction collector of the electric feed pumps
