Barrel And Feed Throat
Cast water cooled feed throat with grooved hardened horizontal liner
4140 sae barrel with bimetallic liner
Vented with vent assembly
10 barrel zones with cast in aluminum heaters all wired into an extruder base mounted junction box
Water cooled heaters with closed loop cooling system including 3hp pump
Heat exchanger and stainless steel tank
Removable stainless steel barrel guards
Screw
Screw is a 4140 steel with colmonoy hard faced flight 10” diameter 7:1 l/d feed section tapering to 6”
Drive And Motor
400hp 460v ac 1800rpm motor with blower and filter assembly directly coupled to the koellmann gear reducer and controlled by a yaskawa ac drive controller in control panel
Control Panel
Panel is a nema 12 double door panel with 400 amp breaker, solid state contractors for each individual zone with 110v control transformer
Includes digital melt and pressure indicator and melt probe
Included Accessories
Includes xaloy eh80 8” hydraulic 2-position slide plate screen changer mounted horizontally to barrel with hydraulic power pack and accumulator & controls
