Pump System
Twin stage Mono C22 pump with packed gland.
Pump shaft driven by a 0.75 kW (1.0 hp), 1430 rpm, 3 phase AC motor.
Drive includes a 5.72 to 1 reduction gearbox plus additional timing belt and pulley reduction with 1 to 1 reduction.
Liquid output up to 480 kg/hr.
Control and Instrumentation
Control panel with manual adjustment of pump and mixing head speeds via potentiometers on the main control panel.
Speed indication by 7 segment LED displays.
Air flow adjusted by ABB manual rotameter, with air flow indication by float in sight glass.
FACT09 control panel includes Mitsubishi PLC modules, 10” touch-screen HMI, Siemens volumetric flow meter, Brooks mass air controller, auto switch to rinse water, and laser sensor for foam height detection.
Based on the required add-on, defined target blow ratio / foam density, fabric width/weight, and line speed signal, the system automatically controls pump speed to meet target pump rate and air controller to meet target air flow.
