  1. Overview
    1. 2006 Gloucester engineering sheet line, ideal for extrusion and sheet production
    2. Features a 6” vented extruder, control cabinet, and 3.5” co-extruder
    3. Includes screen changers, NDC gauge, die block, slant stack, winders, and more
    4. Previously used for approximately 1200 lbs per hour polypropylene sheet
    5. Previously installed in research site as operated on 22-25 mil PP sheet
    6. 2500 lbs per hour design capacity
    7. Reportedly able to run PET, HIPS and PS as well
    8. This line was in an R&D center at a major sheet producer; the configuration is extremely versatile and it has low hours of run time
  2. Extruders
    1. 6” Battenfeld Gloucester 30/1 L/D extruder driven by 500 hp AC motor with Yaskawa VFD control, new 2006
    2. Extruder is equipped with 77” centerline height, 460 volt AC input, contra cool design including blower, 7” x 12” feed throat dimension with standard hopper and air actuated slide gate, and 16.07/1 gearbox ratio
    3. Barrel is vented and plugged
    4. 3.5” American Kuhne 30/1 L/D co-extruder, new 2011
    5. Has electrically heated air cooled barrel, 100 hp AC motor 460 volt AC input with Yaskawa VFD motor control and Koellmann 17.2/1 gearbox ratio
    6. Co-extruder is mounted with 70” centerline height, includes Xaloy screen changer and melt pump
    7. Barrel is vented and plugged
  3. Feeders And Melt Handling
    1. (3) Acrison volumetric feeders without controls
    2. 6” Xaloy slide plate screen changer with hydraulic pump
    3. 30 hp LCI ES 90/90 melt pump with drive includes spare 30 hp motor
    4. EDI 3-layer Ultraflow feedblock, ABA design
    5. 54” EDI model H75 flex lip die with.000-.075 gap, serial #09-28716
