Bonino, Malimo, Complete Nonwoven Plant, 3600mm Final Fabric Width, Double Card

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Production speed: 100 to 120 meters per hour coming out of the Maliwat at 3600mm final fabric width.
    2. Working width of card is 2800mm.
    3. Exit working width from crosslapper is 4000mm.
    4. Maliwat loom is 14 gauge.
    5. Can be put in line with a quilting line.
    6. Line is not heated, except for the end looms that are electrically heated.
    7. All machines of this line were made between 1991 and 1999.
  2. Fiber Preparation
    1. Fiber suction system that goes directly to the fiber opening device, brand Dell'Orco and Villani.
    2. Usually able to process 2500 kg of blended fiber in about 2.5 hours.
    3. Lubrication system entirely in stainless steel, with air pump and air/oil nebulization system and renewed electrical panel.
    4. No. 2 preparation chambers, with automatic diverters/exchangers, both Ommi brand. One chamber average is enough to supply material for about 1-2 days (with fine products they easily can supply material for 2 days each chamber).
    5. The chambers can be used also for some blended fiber effects, like mélange.
    6. Note: the days of duration refer to an 8-hour shift.
    7. Pneumatic transport system of fibers from the chambers to the carding line.
    8. Fiber feeding device for the carding machine, where the fibers arrive from preparation.
    9. Equipped with a fiber suction device for sampling, to work without going through preparation.
    10. Adjustable speed, has 2 photocells for filling (one of the two is safety).
  3. Carding and Crosslapping
    1. No. 2 Bonino cards, with a 2-meter diameter drum, 8 couples of cylinders each (therefore 16 cylinders per drum), useful working width 2800mm.
    2. Inlet compactor and compactor before the second carding machine, with scale (equipped with no. 4 load cells) to manage the speed based on weight.
    3. Spare fillet for the first card.
    4. Edge recovery at the exit from the second carding machine, where the fiber ribbon is cut to make it uniform.
    5. Crosslapper, maximum speed around 60/70 meters/minute, maximum working width 4 meters. PVC tapes with button, 3 inverter motors and air clutch for reversal. Variable speeds.
  4. Loom Specifications
    1. Malimo Malivlies loom, current gauge 18 (works on average with gauges from 14 to 22).
    2. Edge recovery at the exit of the loom.
    3. Malimo Maliwat loom, with heated bars to be able to go faster. Current average speed 1200/1300 beats/minute, current gauge 14 (works on average with gauges from 7 to 22).
    4. Oil cooling system.
    5. Cutter is available for both looms.
    6. Average speed 100/120 about linear meters/hour, with delivery working width 3600mm.
  5. Material and Production Capabilities
    1. Machinery is used for practically every kind of fiber: polyester, viscose, cotton, natural fibers, etc. Currently used for titles between 3 and 15 deniers, with fibers up to 100mm long.
    2. This plant can be put in line with a quilting machine.
    3. The production of this line is usually about 110 meters/hour of fabric, but it depends on many factors.
    4. There is a misunderstanding about the production data of 1000 kg/hour; this is more or less the production capacity of the fiber opening device, that sends the fibers to the preparation chambers.
    5. The preparation chambers work like a storehouse for the fibers. You can fill them in some hours, stocking the fibers used to produce the fabrics for 1-2 days of fabric production.
