Density: the number of inserts per centimeter. The more tightly you weave, the more force you will need for beating the insert yarn into the warp
RR: you can weave for instance very heavy canvas, very tight fabrics for conveyor belts, screens, sail cloth, and also heavy fabrics for geotextiles, filtration, etc.
