V-1212 tutorial on replacing heating wire and high temperature tape in pillow press
Replace Heating Wire
Remove the high-temperature tape and the protective covers on both sides, and loosen the screws that fix the heating wire.
First install the heating wire at one end: the copper head and the yellow wax tube penetrate the heating wire, and bend it to a length of about 4 cm, and connect it to the spring. Do not fix the heating wire yet. (Refer to the original installation method of the manufacturer.)
Install the heating wire on the other end: refer to the picture to operate, straighten the heating wire gently, do not pull the spring forcefully, and cut the heating wire at the spring position on the other side.

Remove the spring and connect it with the heating wire, then fix the spring back to its original position.
Put the wire at the bottom of the heating wire, insert it into the copper head and fix the screw.
Install High Temperature Tape
Tips: 50 mm and 25 mm wide high-temperature tapes, stick the sticky sides to each other and use them together.
Fix the first end of the 25 mm high-temperature tape first, and press it to a certain position, stretch it to a sufficient length and fix the tail end, pay attention to the sticky side facing up, refer to the picture.
Press one end of the 50 mm high-temperature tape to align the high temperature with the outside of the seal, and stretch it to stick it in the middle of the 25 mm high-temperature tape. Pay attention to paste it flat, repeat this action until the paste is completed.
Arrange the high-temperature tape at both ends, cut off the excess high-temperature tape, and install the protective covers on both sides.
