UKM, Edge Uncurlers/Guiders, 80mm Roller Diameter, 280-400mm Roller Length

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Cloth guiders are used to align and guide fabrics during processing for high speed textile machines.
    2. Most powerful pneumatic cloth guiders that can be mounted easily on adjustable support frame.
    3. Can be used in vertical as well as horizontal position.
    4. Suitable for both dry and wet fabrics.
    5. For wider width application, long arm guiders are used.
  2. Features
    1. Ease of operation.
    2. Cost economical solution.
    3. Compact design with less space requirements.
    4. User friendly, easy to replace roller and other components.
    5. Shortest possible span between selvedge openers and guider rollers.
    6. Fast and easy adjustment of roller clearance depending upon fabric thickness.
    7. Optimum web care due to ideal contact pressure by control roller.
    8. Suitable to use in hazardous zones.
    9. Fixed roller of 80 mm diameter, 280 mm / 400 mm length.
    10. Moving roller of 80 mm diameter, 280 mm / 400 mm length.
    11. Accurate web edge sensing element by mechanical feeler lever.
    12. Operating pressure minimum 1 bar.
  3. Application
    1. Covers entire textile sector, can be used in woven fabrics, in dry or wet application.
    2. Can be used in tyre industries for liner fabrics.
    3. Normally used when the web travel is from top to bottom.
    4. The in-feed path is more than the out-feed path.
  4. Function
    1. A cloth guider is mounted at the fabric edge so that fabric runs between the two rollers.
    2. The combination of fixed and moving roller works like a nip.
    3. The fabric edge is sensed by mechanical lever and it converts into proportional pneumatic signal.
    4. The pneumatic signal operates a diaphragm which presses the moving roller against the fixed top roller.
    5. If the fabric runs outwards, the nip pressure is released; if the fabric runs inwards, the nip pressure is applied.
  5. Technical Data
    1. Sensing: mechanical feeler by finger.
    2. Output: pneumatic.
    3. Accuracy: +/- 1 mm on woven fabric.
    4. Fabric width: approx. 650 / 900 - 3500 mm.
    5. Power supply: air regulator.
    6. Roller nip: pneumatic.
    7. Operating voltage: 1 bar pressure.
    8. Ambient temperature: max. 80 degrees.
