Fecken-Kirfel, Foam Peelers, Slitters, Manual and Auto Drills, Spoolers

Description

  1. Notes
    1. Electric runs for all peelers are buried in the concrete floor placed in conduit to avoid a trip hazard while working around the peeler.
    2. Air for the peelers and slitters is associated primarily with safety devices required to protect the operator from the blade. Secondary is blowing foam trash off the material that is generated during the peeling process.
    3. Material can be bagged at the machine. As such, I did not bring the poly wrap machine into this correspondence. Er also uses 3 peelers as pre-rounds, which is the process of removing the hard skin foam blocks prior to the block moving to the peeler. While this step could be eliminated and have the peeler do both, the risk is the peeler blade becoming dull by the hard skin, which will cause machine induced defects (chatter, blade marks, waves, etc.). Foot prints for the pre rounds are the same as the 9400 and 10200 machines (we have (2) 9400 pre rounds and (1) 10200 pre round).
