Drum-type shop coffee roaster, gas fired, sized for a 20 kg (44 lb) charge and a 60 kg/h (132 lb/h) throughput.
Supplied in the full PLC automatic configuration: PLC control with a touchscreen, support for roast profiling software and a roasting-curve data logger.
One roast runs 16 minutes; the batch is then dropped into a cooling chamber worked by air vacuum, which clears it in 1 to 2 minutes.
Chaff is carried off to a collector, and the exhaust is taken away through a cyclone of its own.

Built-in gas pressure regulator, so the flow reaching the burner stays even.
Insulated body, which holds the heat where it is wanted and trims energy use.
Chaff collector, with a cyclone of its own downstream that separates at high efficiency.
Cooling chamber worked by air vacuum: a strong fan pulls air through the beans while a sweep turns the batch over.
Control and Instrumentation
PLC control with a touchscreen operator panel.
Works with Cropster and with Artisan roast profiling software.
The roast curve is logged and drawn on the touchscreen.
Dual thermocouple, reading bean and exhaust temperature at minimum.
Extra sensors on the inlet air and on the cooling exhaust air.
Electrical and control gear by Siemens and Schneider.
Safety Systems
