Description
Overview
Make: Caterpillar.
Model: 992G and 777D.
Machine type: quarry loading and hauling fleet, 2 wheel loaders and 3 off-highway haul trucks.
One matched quarry loading and hauling fleet sold as a single lot: two Caterpillar 992G wheel loaders and three Caterpillar 777D rigid-frame off-highway haul trucks.
Offered and sold together as a single package, not separately.
Capacity: 24 ton (21.8 tonne) loader payload, 100 ton (90.4 tonne) truck payload.
Condition: used.
Country of manufacture: USA; identification plates read Caterpillar Inc. Peoria, IL 61629 USA and Made in USA.
Caterpillar states the 992G loads 90 metric ton (198,416 lb) (100 ton) off-highway trucks in four passes, making the two loaders and three trucks a matched loading and hauling system.
Empty operating weight: 142,573 lb (64,670 kg), made up of chassis 107,144 lb (46,600 kg) and body 35,428 lb (16,070 kg).
Transmission: Cat seven-speed power shift matched to the 3508B engine.
Maximum travel speed: 39.9 mph (60.4 km/h).
Tire size: 27.00-R49 (E4).
Brakes: Cat oil-cooled multiple disc rear brakes.
Overall length: 32 ft (9.8 m) 1 in (9,780 mm).
Wheelbase: 15 ft (4,570 mm).
Operating width: 20 ft (6,105 mm).
Height to top of ROPS, empty: 15 ft (4,567 mm).
Overall height with the body raised: 33 ft (10,059 mm).
Fuel tank: 300 gal (1,137 L).
ROPS and FOPS to SAE J1040 and ISO 3471 Level II.
Dual-slope body: V-shaped floor raises load retention, keeps a low centre of gravity and reduces impact loads.
Reinforced laminated-steel top rail protects the body against damage from the loading tool or falling material.
An 8 degree V centres the load; a 10 degree forward body slope with an 18 degree tail slope retains the load on steep grades.
Developed for mining, quarrying and construction applications, moving material at high volume to lower cost per ton.
Condition Seen on Video, 992G Wheel Loaders
Engines start and run, and both machines were filmed working under their own power.
Full hydraulic cycle demonstrated: boom raises to full lift height, bucket rolls back and dumps, boom lowers, repeatedly.
Machines drive and articulate under their own power.
Heavy black exhaust smoke under load, consistent and thick throughout the running footage.
Tires: large rock tires, tread substantially worn, the front tires close to smooth.
Buckets: rock buckets with bolt-on tips and segments, heavily worn, rusted to bare metal, with visible weld repair on the shell.
Cab glazing complete and unbroken; handrails and access ladders present; ROPS and FOPS structure intact.
Paint faded and chalky, sheet metal generally straight, no crash damage visible.
Condition Seen on Video, 777D Haul Trucks
Engines run, and a truck drives forward, reverses and manoeuvres in the yard under its own power on video.
Dump hydraulics work: three trucks raise and lower their bodies fully and repeatedly on video.
Dual-slope bodies show rust scale on the inside wear surface; the structure, top rails and V floor are intact.
Tires: large off-highway radials, all mounted, tread worn but present; rims show surface rust.
Cab glass intact on the trucks shown; ROPS canopy and handrails in place.
No damage and no missing major components were visible before disassembly.
Export Preparation and Scope of Supply
Every machine in the lot has been dismantled into transport modules under the manufacturer's own procedure by qualified personnel, prepared for flat-rack and break-bulk export.
Fluids were drained and support stands fitted before separation, following the manufacturer's procedure, to protect the electrical and electronic systems and the cab interior.
Complete manuals and the preventive and corrective maintenance logbooks kept by the authorized Caterpillar dealer are available with the machines.
Machines start, run, drive and cycle their hydraulics on video; the footage and full photo set are available on request.
