Description

  1. Overview
    1. Dusenbery model 835-24 cantilevered duplex slitter rewinder, 72 inch (1,829 mm) wide.
    2. Built for film, laminates, foil and pressure sensitive adhesive work.
    3. Floor space required: approximately 16 ft x 10 ft (4.9 m x 3.0 m).
  2. Unwind
    1. Shaftless unwind, 40 inch (1,016 mm) maximum roll diameter.
    2. Automatic edge guide with plus or minus 1.5 inch travel and remote fine adjustment at the front and the rear of the machine.
    3. Closed loop unwind tension control using load cells mounted at the rear of the machine and a Montalvo air cooled brake.
    4. A pair of automatic pneumatic web tail clamps, which hold tension on the web when the machine is stopped and during unloading.
  3. Slitting
    1. Razor in the groove slitting with dovetail razor holders.
    2. Can be changed over to shear cut if required.
    3. Two pull rolls before the slitting station and two after it, which hold the correct tension through the slitting station and isolate it from the unwind and the rewind.
    4. Pull rolls and idlers are rubberized cork covered.

    5. Finished rolls are offloaded onto the doffing tree.
