Overview
Complete new 1000 L per brew brewing system: three-vessel brewhouse (mash/kettle tun, lauter tun, whirlpool tun) with 1500 L hot water tank and 1500 L cold water tank.
Scope includes malt milling, brewhouse, fermentation (7 x 1000 L fermentation tanks/unitanks and 10 x 1000 L bright tanks), glycol cooling, electric controls, a 100 L portable CIP cart, spare parts and tools, and steam piping stations.
Equipment is in stock; the quantity of fermentation and bright tanks can be reduced.
Electric supply: 3 phase, 480 V, 60 Hz.
Heating: steam (100 kg/hr steam boiler by the buyer, not included).
Malt Milling Unit
Malt mill, 1 set: 300 to 500 kg/hr average capacity for malt.
Stainless steel cover and frame; 1.5 kW motor; nylon and chrome gearbox for low running noise.
80 L malt hopper for at least 30 kg of malt.
Double rollers, 155 x 200 mm, hardened chrome steel, washable, adjustable clearance, speed differential; faster roller speed 700 rpm.
Strong magnet to remove iron pieces (magnetic metal ratio 0.003 g/kg or less); roller temperature after production 56 °C or less.
Dust-tight malt outlet; bag collecting or auger connection available.

1000 L Brewhouse Unit
Mash/kettle tun (10 HL), 1 set: grain mashing, wort boiling and hopping; 1000 L capacity (+30% headspace minimum); Ø1460 x 2500 mm; steam heated with dimple plate jacket on bottom and side wall; dished top with mirror, conical bottom; top-mounted glass manhole; 360° rotary CIP spray ball; top-mounted agitator motor with VFD speed adjustment, covered with a 3'6" decorative tube with mirror; grain agitator with positive/inversion control; 8 in x 4 m steam vent chimney with mirror; bimetal thermometer; sight light.
Lauter tun (10 HL), 1 set: lautering and sparging; 1000 L capacity (+25% headspace minimum); Ø1460 x 2500 mm; not heated; flat bottom with wort collector and anti-rinser; 2 CIP spray balls; detachable sparging spray ring; grain bed rake with VFD and positive/inversion control; manually lifted spent grain dozer; enlarged side spent grain manhole with glass and grain chute; SUS304 wedge-wire milled false bottom with 0.7 mm gap on top and 1.5 mm at the bottom; wort circulation inlet with sight glass; diaphragm valve; sight light.
Whirlpool tun (10 HL), 1 set: 1000 L capacity (+30% headspace minimum); Ø1460 x 2500 mm; not heated; slant bottom; tangential whirlpool inlet; trub dam; liquid level indicator; sight light.
Hot liquor tank (15 HL), 1 set: 1500 L capacity (+15% headspace minimum); Ø1460 x 2000 mm; steam heated with dimple plate jacket; glass manhole; liquid level indicator; floating ball level sensor that stops heating with alarm; overflow port; mounted on the work platform.
Vessel construction: SUS304 interior shell 3 mm and exterior shell 2 mm, fully welded, 100% TIG welding with pure argon shield; interior acid washed and passivated, polished to 0.2 to 0.4 µm; 80 mm rock wool insulation; jacket test at 5 bar (75 psi) for 1 hour and 3.5 bar (52 psi) for 48 hours; jacket working pressure under 2 bar; 72-hour full water leakage test; atmospheric working pressure; 4 SUS304 legs with braces and adjustable heavy-duty foot pads.
Non-slip stainless steel work platform with grating floor (3.0 mm), integrated stairs, grounded hand rail, mounting points for the control panel, and washing bin with diaphragm valve.
3 sanitary centrifugal pumps (mash, wort, hot water): 3 m³/hr each, SUS304, 24 m delivery head; IP55 motors, insulation class F, IE2/EFF1; EPDM auxiliary seals; -10 to +140 °C working temperature.
Sanitary 304 stainless steel piping, internally polished to 0.4 to 0.8 µm, with brewhouse manifold.
Manual water mixing station with electromagnetic flow meter and bimetallic thermometer.
Manual wort cooling station with ball valve and bimetallic thermometer.
2 electromagnetic flow meters (lauter tun to kettle, heat exchanger to fermenter).
25 L glass wort grant / wort balance column, Ø89 x 900 mm, with sight glass and CIP ball.
10 m² single-stage plate heat exchanger for wort cooling: 304 stainless steel corrugated plates 0.4 mm, EPDM gaskets, design pressure 1.0 MPa, design temperature 130 °C; 800 x 470 x 1250 mm.
Pipe filter with 0.6 to 0.7 mm cartridge gap to protect the heat exchanger from trub.
Wort aeration station with aeration stone, ball valve, sight glass and check valve (air supply line with filter not included).
20 L yeast feeder, 304 stainless steel, 500 x 500 x 550 mm.
50 L hop back with pressure gauge and tri-clamp inlet/outlet, Ø350 x 1000 mm.
Fermentation Unit
7 x 1000 L fermentation tanks/unitanks: 1000 L capacity (+25% headspace minimum); Ø1210 x 2710 mm; 60° conical bottom; dished top; side-mounted oval manhole with pressure door; CIP arm with rotary spray ball; CO2 blow-off arm; PVRV safety valve 2 bar (30 psi); sampling valve; pressure gauge; rotating racking arm; PT100 temperature sensor and bimetal thermometer; 4 in dry hopping port with 102 mm butterfly valve; adjustable bunging valve 0.2 to 2.2 bar.
10 L hop doser, 1 set.
10 x 1000 L bright tanks: 1000 L capacity (+20% headspace minimum); Ø1210 x 2220 mm; dished top and bottom; side oval manhole with pressure door; carbonation port with 0.22 µm CO2 stone and check valve; glass level tube with valves; PVRV safety valve 2 bar (30 psi); sampling valve; adjustable bunging valve 0.2 to 2.2 bar.
Tank construction: SUS304 interior shell 3 mm and exterior shell 2 mm, 100% TIG welded; interior 2B finish, pickled and passivated, polished to 0.2 to 0.4 µm; brushed exterior; 80 mm PU insulation; dimple plate glycol jacket on bottom and side wall for 35% glycol at -5 °C; jacket test 5 bar (75 psi) for 1 hour and 3.5 bar (52 psi) for 48 hours; tank test 4 bar (60 psi) for 1 hour and 2.5 bar (37.5 psi) for 48 hours; working pressure 2 bar (30 psi) or less; 4 SUS304 legs with adjustable foot pads.
Glycol Cooling Unit
1000 L glycol water tank (+15% headspace minimum), Ø1260 x 1860 mm, 80 mm PU insulation, empty level switch.
1500 L (15 HL) cold water tank (+15% headspace minimum), Ø1460 x 2000 mm, glycol jacketed, 80 mm PU insulation, CIP spray ball, level indicator and low level alarm.
2 x 5 HP air-cooled glycol water chillers: cooling capacity 7000 W / 6000 kcal/h at 35 °C ambient and -5 °C outlet; installed power 4.8 kW, 3 phase, 480 V, 60 Hz; rated current 10.8 A; R407C refrigerant; scroll compressor; 5 in LCD control panel; pressure, temperature, overload, flow and anti-freezing protection; noise level 61 dB(A); weight 200 kg (running 220 kg); 1220 x 720 x 1325 mm.
Glycol transfer: glycol water pump 0.75 kW, 4 m³/hr, 31 m head; cold water pump 3 m³/hr, 18 m delivery head; 304 stainless steel solenoid valve (DC 24 V) for each tank; stainless steel glycol pipeline and fittings with rubber foam insulation.
Electric Control Unit
Brewhouse control cabinet: Siemens S7-1200 PLC program, UL certified cabinet, wall-hung or platform mounted; VFD control of pumps and agitator/rake; auto/manual tank heating control; CE/UL electrical components.
Fermentation control cabinet: UL certified cabinet; auto/manual control of the glycol pump, chillers, fermentation tanks, bright tanks and glycol water tank.
100 L Portable CIP Cart (Two Tanks)
100 L single-wall caustic tank, Ø500 x 1150 mm, SUS304 2 mm, 6 kW electric heating, floating ball level sensor.
100 L single-wall acid tank, Ø500 x 1150 mm, SUS304 2 mm.
Sanitary CIP pump, 3 m³/hr, 18 m delivery head, with VFD speed control.
Sanitary piping, valves and fittings; 304 stainless steel trolley with 4 x 4 in wheels; 304 stainless steel CIP control cabinet.
Spare Parts and Tools
Brewhouse spares: 12 m sanitary brewery hose, pump seals, 1400 mm spent grain rake, Brix spindles 0-10 and 10-20, wort measuring cylinder, 2 manual butterfly valves, pipe sight glass, clamps and gaskets.
Spare parts for fermentation, control and CIP, and standard installation tools.
Steam Supply Unit
Steam inlet station, steam trap station and safety station (2.5 bar safety valve) for each heating unit.
100 kg/hr steam boiler supplied by the buyer.
