Designed for high production capacity of various sizes of cotton balls by servo motor with PLC control.
The machine counts the number of balls according to the pack size and transfers them to the packing station.
Method Of Operation
Slivers are routed to the machine from the can or directly from the card.
The slivers on up to 10 lanes are separated to the length corresponding to the respective ball weight.
They are then rolled by forming channels and are transported to the feed hoppers (delivery chutes).
The size of cotton ball may vary for the same weight due to “hard” or “soft” forming.
The size of forming channels should be selected according to the ball sizes and we can also manufacture the special forming devices on the channel for super soft balls as an option.
Conveyor
Inclined conveyor allows the packing location to be in higher level so that the workers can exchange the bags in a comfortable position.
Packaging
Due to high production capacity, balls are delivered into two delivery chutes in front of the machine.
The two chutes are equipped with a diverter which is actuated upon reaching the present count by a rotary air-cylinder.
This permits a new bag to be filled while removing the full bag.
The counter can be controlled by photo sensor for each lane of cotton sliver so the counting can be done properly.
Sliver Feeding Creel And Counting Sensors
For the smooth feeding of slivers to this machine at high speed, we are offering the sliver feeding creel system.
The photo sensors are attached on each lane of sliver feeding unit so it enables the machine to count the number of balls in a bag.
In addition, the machine alarms immediately when sliver is broken so the worker can connect the sliver.
Bag Holders
At the bottom of delivery chutes, a bag holder is attached each output of chutes so that the workers can exchange the bags easily in a short term.
