    3. With the specially developed Spuhl LFK 120 single coiler transfer machine, you produce the heart of the new Spuhl Cosiflex sleeping system — the fully completed LFK spring interior — in a flexible, quick, economic, completely safe, continuous, and fully automatic way.
  2. Spring Interior Technology
    1. Thanks to its LFK spring interior, the new Spuhl Cosiflex sleeping system provides greater sleeping comfort and more relaxation without restricting freedom of movement.
    2. The spring interior consists of many small hinged-together individual springs, more than twice the number found in ordinary mattresses.
    3. Each spring flexes to a perfect body fit individually; together they provide correct and precise spine support in any rest position.
    4. The central element of the LFK spring interior is the specially shaped, cylindrical single spring with narrow end rings and straight bars, providing strong support even at minimum compression and eliminating the unwanted "hammock effect".
    5. In the LFK spring interior, the individual springs are neither knotted nor do they form an endless link; they are hinged together to perform their spring functions and adjust ideally to any body shape.

Fully automatic process: the special cylindrical springs are coiled and individually heat treated on the F 110 automatic spring coiling machine before being carried by a transfer belt to the AM 115 assembly machine, where they are assembled with helical wires to form complete spring interiors, and then ejected.
    6. Both helical wires are cut off and knuckled at all four ends without any material waste and fully automatically, at a speed of up to 90 springs a minute.
    7. Increased production speed: more than 40,000 springs per shift.
    8. Uniformly high spring quality thanks to extra lightweight transfer arms and optimum, electronically monitored tempering of each individual spring.
