Description

  1. Overview
    1. Full-continuous oil refining plant for crude palm oil
    2. Input capacity: 120 tpd crude palm oil
    3. Main process includes degumming refining section, decolorization section, deodorization section, vacuum section, and circulating water unit
    4. Equipment selection and fabrication in compliance with advanced, practical, long service life standards
    5. Centrifuge with stable running, excellent separation effect, and high automation
    6. Bleaching tower includes new-type steam-stirring tiered design to reduce bleaching earth usage and increase refining ratio
    7. Incorporates shelf type deodorization tower with FFA trapping device; FFA trapping ratio can reach over 90%
    8. Direct steam nozzle incorporates vacuum venture nozzle for stable and uniform vapor flow
    9. Configured with micropore nozzle for more uniform stripping effect and better refining effect
    10. Uniformity unobstructed oil flow path, evenly oil flow, short deodorization time
    11. Inspection port lamp is radial diffuse type with wide field of view for easy observation
    12. Manhole with quick dispatch lifting mechanism for safe and convenient operation
  2. Degumming And Alkali Refining Section
    1. Measured crude oil is pumped from crude oil tank by oil feeding pump through crude oil filter to remove impurities
    2. Part of heat is recovered through heat exchanger
    3. Oil is heated to process required temperature of 70°C
    4. Oil mixes with measured moderate phosphoric acid from phosphoric acid tank in the mixer
    5. Mixture enters tempering tank for tempering, transferring nonhydratable phospholipids into hydratable phospholipids
  3. Washing And Drying Section
    1. Neutral oil from neutralization centrifuge contains about 500 ppm soap
    2. 10% or so hot water is added into the oil to remove residual soap content; hot water temperature is normally 3-5°C higher than oil temperature
    3. Oil-water mixture enters washing tank from mixer, after proper time tempering it is heated to 90-95°C through heater
    4. Mixture enters washing centrifuge to separate residual soap and most of water
    5. Soap-oil contained water enters oil-water separating tank to catch contained oil; further trapping done through outside oil-trapping pool
    6. Waste water is discharged to sewage treatment station
    7. Washed oil from washing centrifuge still contains a little water; 90°C oil is delivered to vacuum drier for vacuum dehydration at 150°C with some direct steam added
    8. Dehydrated oil goes to bleaching section
    9. Vacuum drier incorporates floating ball to control liquid level
    10. Drier extraction pump incorporates sealed motor pump
  4. Bleaching Section
    1. Dried degummed alkalized oil enters plate heat exchanger first, producing heat with hot oil from deodorization system
    2. Oil is heated to appropriate temperature of 110°C through heater and enters bleaching earth mixing tank
    3. Bleaching earth is air conveyed to bleaching earth temporary storage tank from low level bleaching earth tank
    4. Bleaching earth is measured automatically and interlocked with oil feeding volume
    5. After oil mixes with bleaching earth, it overflows to continuous bleaching machine
    6. Bleached oil goes to two alternate leaf filters for filtration
    7. Filtered oil passes through security filter to remove microcrystalline impurities further, then enters bleached oil storage tank
    8. Bleached oil storage tank is vacuum storage tank to avoid contact between bleached oil and air, preventing oxidation and influence on peroxide value and color reversion
  5. Deodorization Section
    1. Most of heat is recycled through spiral-plate heat exchanger from qualified bleached oil
    2. Oil enters medium heater and is heated to process required temperature of 240°C-260°C
    3. Oil enters deodorization tower (combined type: upper layer is structured packing mainly to remove odor components such as FFA; bottom layer is plate tower mainly for hot bleaching)
    4. Oil peroxide value is reduced to standard requirements
    5. Oil from deodorization tower passes through heat exchanger to recover most of heat, then exchanges heat with heat exchanger in bleaching system further
    6. Oil is cooled down to 80°C-85°C through a cooler
    7. After adding necessary antioxidant, oil is cooled down below 40°C by cooler for storage
    8. Volatile substances such as FFA after deodorization are trapped by a packing trapper; trapping liquids are low temperature type (40°C-50°C) FA
    9. When liquid level in FA storage tank is high enough, it is delivered to FA storage tank for storage
