Description

  1. Overview
    1. 810 MW (2 x 405 MW, ISO) combined cycle power plant, 50 Hz, natural gas fuel.
    2. Consists of two 405.5 MW (ISO) combined cycle power modules in a 1x1x1 arrangement.
    3. Each module includes one General Electric GT-9FA.03 gas turbine, one Alstom steam turbine, and a CMI-designed heat recovery boiler system with supplemental firing.
    4. Electricity generated at 15.75 kV and stepped up to 400 kV via Areva step-up transformers.
    5. Commissioned at the end of 2015; placed in preservation mode shortly after due to lack of natural gas.
    6. Actual operating hours: 2,790 and 1,547 hours since new.
    7. Documented efficiency of 56.85% (at site); theoretical efficiency close to 60%.
    8. Supplemental firing allows each module to generate about 14 MW of additional power.
    9. Service and supply contract with GE in place until 2028.
    10. All original design and construction documentation (civil, mechanical, electrical) included.
    11. Plant control room features Yokogawa complete operations systems integration, 170 kV of UPS backup power, and remote monitoring with GE.
    12. Emergency power provided by two 1 MW emergency generators.
    13. Black start capability requires a 15 MW generator (optional).
  2. Preservation And Maintenance
    1. Maintained under the manufacturer’s (GE) preservation program by qualified professionals.
    2. Program includes annual borescope inspections, scheduled rotation of turbines and generators, scheduled maintenance, recirculating heat for steam and gas turbines, generator heat, and nitrogen blankets for all fluid lines and equipment sections requiring preservation.
    3. Long-term service and parts supply agreement with GE available, as well as maintenance and spare parts supply for the steam turbines.
    4. All plant and equipment will get warranties and performance assurances from the OEM.

    7. Power transformer for STG: 2 x 170 MVA.
    8. Unit auxiliary transformer: 2 x 28 MVA.
    9. EDG: 2 x 1.01 MVA.
    10. CW pump: 4 x 14,260 m³/hr.
    11. Condensate extraction pump: 4 x 570 m³/hr.
    12. HP/IP boiler feed pump: 4 x 410 m³/hr.

    2. Unit auxiliary transformer: 3 phase, 28 MVA, voltage 15.75/6.9 kV, cooling ONAN/ONAF, 50 Hz.
    3. Power transformer STG: 3 phase, 170 MVA, 0.85 power factor lag, voltage 15.75/420 kV, cooling ONAN/ONAF/OFAF, 50 Hz.
  5. Balance Of Plant
    1. DM plant: 2 x 20 m³/hr, Triveni Engineering Ind. Ltd.
  6. Condition
    1. Fully erected but unused; in preservation mode as per OEM norms (GE, Alstom, L&T).
    2. Available for immediate delivery with full OEM warranty.
  7. Included
    1. Metal building housing the two modules, designed to withstand high winds (coastal locations) and includes a heavy lifting overhead crane suitable for all maintenance and repair operations of the gas and steam turbines.
    2. All original design and construction documentation (civil, mechanical, electrical engineering).
    1. Site conditions applicable; buyer shall assess all engineering and design conditions for the new site.
