Alea, S100, 2200mm Working Width, Oil Heated, Multi Layer Tenter Frame

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Reconditioned year 2000.
    2. Designed for tentering, drying, heat setting and curing all types of textile fabrics.
    3. High evaporating capacity due to large fabric content in a reduced volume.
    4. Tenter can be supplied with 8, 10 or 12 runs: fabric content varying between 38 metres and 78 metres.
    5. Perfect accessibility through large doors which give immediate access to the filters, heat exchangers, fans, chains.
    6. Low maintenance requirements. Fans are directly coupled with three phase electric motors. Each driven roll has its own driving inverter motor. No belt driven transmission or mechanical speed variators are installed.
    7. Ac-inverter driving motors.
    8. Overfeeding range from -10% to +40%, adjustable even at standstill via a rheostat. Single selvedge tension adjustable by a rheostat, too.
    9. Special edge sensor with dust and waterproof enclosed photocells with mechanical feeler. Hence the combined advantages of positive edge sensing with light barrier and electronic control.
    10. Three speed arm displacements via hydraulic jacks controlled by solenoid valves instead of pinion and rack system; hence higher displacement speed due to lower inertia and fewer moving parts.
    11. Pneumatic chain tensioning with constant tension.
    12. Chains equipped with ball-bearings which absorb the fabric tension forces and allow to use the tenter even with heavy felts.
    13. Power consumption and the need for lubrication are kept low due to rolling friction.
    14. Furthermore, fabric holding elements are provided with pin plates and pinning counter plates which prevent fabric deepening under all circumstances.
    15. Chain rails are formed by a drawn steel section and almost totally enclose the chain.
  2. Chain and Lubrication
    1. Chains have pins and counter-pins and are equipped with (automatically lubricated) ball bearings to reduce friction against the sliding guides.
    2. Automatic chain lubrication with adjustable electric programmer: lubricating oil is directly fed to the chain guides and bearings.
    3. Air blowing nozzles are fitted close to the chain guides to allow periodical cleaning of both elements and bearings. The nozzles are designed with quick release couplings for connection to the compressed air network of the plant.
  3. Air System
    1. Large number of air blowing nozzles on both sides of the fabric. These are of the circular jet type, with side plates, which produce an air cushion above and under the fabric.
    2. When the machine stops, an automatic flap stops ventilation onto the processed fabric. However, air goes on circulating through a part of the circuit (fans - gas burners or batteries - filters) thus preventing any marking of the fabric inside the chamber and ensuring minimal re-setting up times.
  4. Heating and Temperature Control
    1. Drying tunnel divided into 2 heating zones: the first one for drying the fabric, the second one for heat setting or drying in case of synthetic fabrics. The air temperature in each zone can be automatically and independently regulated via electronic temperature regulators.
    2. The tenter heating media is thermal fluid oil (indirect heating).
    3. Heaters are largely dimensioned and allow a quick rise to working temperature as well as a precise temperature regulation.
    4. All external panels are double walled and lagged with rock wool. They are designed for a maximum working temperature of 250 °C.
  5. Inlet and Exit
    1. Inlet frame designed to receive fabric in folds, the inlet frame is provided with braking rods, automatic centering by means of pneumatically operated roller frame with electronic photo-cell control.
    2. Skew weft straightener built in the inlet frame, that is manually controlled and consists also of a roller frame which is pneumatically operated.
    3. The exit end of the tenter is supplied with a plaiter. The pull roll speed can be adjusted by means of a pneumatic compensator thus allowing bow weft correction.
    4. A suction drum cooler can be installed before the plaiter. This device is particularly recommended when blankets have to be cooled down for downstream operations such as raising.
  6. Accessories
    1. The tenter can be fitted with a large number of accessories.
