NovaStar, SZ145, ETO Exhaust Gas Scrubber, Water Spray Acid Type, 1 mg/m3 Emission, for 34 m3 ETO Sterilizer (New)

Description

  1. Overview
    1. ETO (ethylene oxide) exhaust gas scrubber, water spray acid type, built new.
    2. Designed for one 34 m3 (1,200.7 cu ft) ETO sterilizer of 8 pallets, such as our YY-3380.
    3. Outlet emission design: 1 mg/m3 of EO.
    4. Sized for the sterilizer's exhaust; aeration rooms are not included.
  2. How It Works
    1. After each cycle the sterilizer's vacuum pump removes the EO gas from the chamber; its discharge passes the steam-water separator and goes to the scrubber.
    2. In the scrubber, a water spray with acid treats the exhaust gas before it is released.
    3. The EO supply line's residual gas, purged at each cylinder change, is also sent to the scrubber.
    4. The sterilizer's control system starts the scrubber and reads its feedback automatically.
  3. Construction Options
    1. PP (polypropylene).
    2. FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic).
    3. Stainless steel.
  4. Emission Options
    1. This scrubber type is built for 40 mg/m3, 5 mg/m3 or 1 mg/m3; this offer is the 1 mg/m3 design, the strictest of the three.
    2. Limits stricter than 1 mg/m3 need an added catalytic combustion stage, which is not included.
    3. Please confirm with your local environmental authority that 1 mg/m3 meets its limit.
  5. Installation And Commissioning
    1. Installed by our engineers together with the sterilizer: about 40 to 50 days, plus 15 days for validation and training.
    2. The buyer provides a plumber, an electrician and 2 general workers to assist.
    3. Timelines assume the local workers cooperate closely with the engineers.
  6. Notes
    1. No dryer is needed for ETO sterilization; one can be added on request.
    2. The photos show installed scrubbers of this type in PP and FRP; the layout for your site is confirmed with the order.
