Equipment Condition and Maintenance History
Gas turbine has approximately 8,000 operating hours and does not require immediate overhauling.
Borescope inspection conducted on August 14, 2022, showed minor rust and micropitting on some gears of the reduction gearbox.
Large low-speed bearing shows scratches, embedded rust particles, and slight overheating on the cage.
Recommendations from last inspection: monitor daily vibrations and conduct oil analysis twice a year; perform another borescope inspection after 4,000 additional hours of operation.
Gas turbine itself remains in good operating condition; minor concerns in the reduction gearbox should be monitored but do not affect immediate usability.
