Description

  1. Overview
    1. Each generator set is completely assembled and consists of engine, new generator, new motor control and base frame/rack.
    2. The man engines can be operated with both heavy oil and light oil; they will be pre-adjusted for the fuel quality of the customer.
    3. Manufacturer: Man Diesel & Turbo, type 18v32/40 – 4 stroke, unused.
    4. Each unit consists of motor, new generator, rack/base-frame and new motor control.
  2. Motor Specifications
    1. Speed: 750 rpm.
    2. Power at crankshaft: 9,000 kwm.
    3. Emission: wb 1998.
    4. Power-to-weight ratio (mcr): in-line engine 11.3 – 12.7 kg/kw; v-engine 9.4 – 10.2 kg/kw.
    5. Cylinder output (mcr) at 750/720* rpm: 500 kw.
    6. Cooling: cylinder cooling fresh water; charge-air cooler (two-stage) fresh water; fuel injector cooling fresh water, only when running on hfo.
    7. Starting method: compressed air.
  3. Generator Specifications
    1. 50 hz – new generator.
    2. Voltage: 11 kv.
    3. Output: approximately 10,940 kva.
    4. Alternator efficiency: 97.24%.
  4. Generator Unit Specifications
    1. Continuous power output: 8,752 kwel.
    2. Specific fuel consumption at 100% load: 190.35 g/kwel.
    3. Lube oil consumption (+ 20% tolerance): 4.5 kg/h.
    4. Weight per unit: 151 ton.
    5. Parameters according to iso condition.
  5. Consumption Calculation for a Power Plant of 8 Gensets
    1. With eight engines and a maximum output of 72 mw, like 720,000 kw/h, this results in an output of 8,640,000 kw/h with a daily runtime of 12 hours per day under full load.
    2. This takes about 3 hours to diesel operation, about one hour to start and two hours for internal cleaning of the engines before the standstill.
    3. The remaining 9 hours, the engines are operated with heavy oil.
    4. However, these values must be determined and depend on the purchased quality of the fuels. It is therefore only a rough calculation.
    5. This results in a daily consumption for 8 engines of approximately 43.2 t diesel.
    6. The heavy oil consumption for 8 engines is approximately 123.12 t per day.
  6. Condition and Notes
    1. The generator set is highest quality and must be overhauled after 45,000 working hours.
    2. Subject to prior sale. Technical dates and statements with reservations of error.
  7. Specifications
