NovaStar, RL2000EH, Roll Packing Machine, 2000mm Width, 8-10 Rolls/Hour (New)

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Roll packing system for innerspring units of up to 2000 mm width.
    2. Packs bulky spring units into easy-to-ship and easy-to-open compressed rolls.
    3. Offers convenient, fast, safe and low cost baling of innersprings for mattresses.
    4. Production rate of 8 to 10 rolls per hour.
  2. Operation
    1. Spring units are compressed and wrapped together using special kraft paper or polyethylene film (or other suitable material) on a mandrel.
    2. Level of compression can be adjusted by a pneumatically controlled pressure roller and paper tension to suit any strength of spring.
    3. Up to 20 units can be wrapped in a roll, with the number depending on the size, type and height of the spring unit, the thickness of the wire and whether a flat border frame is attached.
    4. Once the paper is cut and secured, the roll is drawn out from the mandrel by means of a hydraulic ejector and the bale is ready for shipment or compact storage.
    5. High ejection power to achieve a production rate of 8 – 10 rolls per hour.
    6. Automatic reverse and reset of the machine on ejection cycle.
  3. Specifications
    1. Additional shafts enable the machine to roll pack spring units of exceptionally greater height.
    2. Photoelectric sensors at knee level to avoid accidents.
    3. Machine is supplied complete with a feeding table on rails.
    4. Due to the monolithic construction of the machine, there is no need for any time consuming installation.
    5. Weight of the machine is 3450 kg and can be delivered in a 20' container.
  4. Control And Safety
    1. Fully computerized: all logic circuits are controlled by a PLC (programmable logic controller) giving additional safety features, flexibility and making the process operator friendly.
    2. A motor inverter provides a fully variable speed capability, keeping the rolling/packing operation at a constant speed, independent of the diameter of the roll.
    3. Rolling speed can be selected to suit the operator's pace, experience, type of spring unit, complexity, etc.
    4. Pre-selected slow start of rolling, giving the operator time to position the first unit.
    5. Machine stops automatically when the paper or other wrapping material runs out or breaks.
