NovaStar, RL2000A, 2000mm Width, 10 to 12 Rolls per Hour, Roll Packing Machine for Innerspring Units (New)

Description

  1. Overview
    1. Roll packing system for innerspring units of up to 2000mm width
    2. Production rate of 10 to 12 rolls per hour
    3. With hydraulic ejection piston and enhanced feeding and automatic strapping
    4. Packs bulky spring units into easy-to-ship and easy-to-open compressed rolls
    5. Offers convenient, fast, safe and low cost baling of innersprings for mattresses
    6. Smaller working space required
  2. Operation
    1. Spring units are compressed and wrapped together using special kraft paper or polyethylene film (or other suitable material) on a mandrel
    2. Level of compression can be adjusted by a pneumatically controlled pressure roller and paper tension to suit any strength of spring
    3. Up to 20 units can be wrapped in a roll, with the number depending on the size, type and height of the spring unit, the thickness of the wire and whether flat border frame is attached
    4. Once the paper is cut and secured, the roll is drawn out from the mandrel by means of a hydraulic ejector and the bale is ready for shipment or compact storage
    5. Incorporates an adjustable feeding table to assist the feeding of spring units especially at the initial stages of the roll packing process of each bale, thus eliminating the need for an extra feeding table; it can be removed at any time during operation
    6. Paper is drawn in automatically by means of a vacuum system in the mandrel
    7. Automatic strapping of the bale with the roll being taped at as many places (maximum 4) and length as considered necessary by the operator
    8. All the above features result in speeding up the whole process to achieve a roll packing capability of 10 to 12 bales per hour
  3. Specifications
    1. Maximum width of spring units: 200mm
    2. Type of spring units: Bonnell, continuous, pocketed, etc., with or without flat steel strip border frame
    3. For spring units with height greater than 160mm, the use of 2-ply wrapping paper is recommended
    4. Wrapping material: extensible kraft paper is most commonly used; other material such as plastic firm and pp cloth can also be used
    5. Maximum roll diameter is 800mm and bore diameter is 75mm
    6. One or two rolls can be used depending on the type and size of spring units being used
    7. Wire of coils: due to adjustable pressure available on the pressure roller, practically any coil wire diameter can be used (as long as the paper is strong enough)
    8. Maximum roll diameter: absolute maximum diameter is 700mm; a warning signal is given when the roll exceeds the diameter of 650mm; recommended diameter is 600mm so that 4 rolls will fit exactly a container's width and height
    9. Mandrel diameter: 215mm (standard); 250mm and 280mm (optional) can be used to suit different types and height of spring units and flat border frame
    10. Electrical power consumption: maximum 7.5kW
    11. Compressed air supply: about 6kg/cm2, with a consumption of less than 0.01m3 per roll (per cycle)
