Description

  1. Preface
    1. All performance figures reported are not binding; they come from the long-term experience of the Italian spandex plant, considering that all key equipment are well-installed and properly maintained.
    2. Adequately qualified personnel are operating the production.
    3. All necessary raw and working materials and utilities are available at the due time and continuously supplied in sufficient amount, fully corresponding to standard quality specification.
    4. Expected figures have been achieved after start-up production period, when setting parameters are optimized and with operating personnel fully familiar with machines, apparatuses and control system.
  2. Capacities
    1. Polymer Preparation Plant
      1. The total installed name plate capacity of the polymer preparation plant is 800 kg/h dope (with 24% b.w. concentration).
    2. Wet Spinning Plant
      1. The capacity of the spinning machines is as follows: output of each spinning machine (a to d) at 48 positions: 620 dtex: ≥ 762 kg/24h; 800 dtex: ≥ 902 kg/24h; 940 dtex: ≥ 773 kg/24h; 1240 dtex: ≥ 760 kg/24h.
      2. The total name plate capacity of all 4 machines is 1,100 t/a resp. 3.3 tpd. This production capacity is calculated according to a certain and defined mix of the above products (see appendix 01).
    3. Solvent Recovery Plant
      1. The solvent recovery plant is designed for purification and recovery of all dmf-water solutions coming from spinning bath extraction and from scrubber system.
      2. The name plate production capacity of this plant is 7,000 kg/h of feed solution (about 10% b.w. dmf and 90% b.w. water).
  3. Main Raw Material Consumption
    1. Following tables are based on a name plate production capacity of 1,100 t/a resp. approx. 3.2 t/24h yarn (spandex).
    2. Consumption per 1,000 kg spandex: spandex scraps: ≤ 1,190 kg; solvent: ≤ 53.0 kg.
