  1. Overview
    1. To work with blown fiber system
    2. Produces pillowcases composed by a single pocket with single sewing
    3. Pillowcase dimension: width minimum 400 mm to maximum 800 mm (15.7 to 31.5 inches)
    4. Pillowcase length maximum 1200 mm (47.2 inches)
  2. Composition
    1. Fabric cutting group
    2. Assembled of sturdy welded carbon-steel structure
    3. Including fabric roll to unwinder
    4. A motorized calender group that allows the fabric to unwind at the preset measure
    5. Cutter group to cut the fabric at the right size automatically
    6. Folding group
    7. Conveyor belt at the exit of the cutting group
    8. Motorized guide with clamp units that take the fabric panel and fold it
    9. Sewing group
    10. N. 2 Pegasus overlocking sewing machines (right and left one) fixed on the lateral sides of a conveyor belt to sew the sides of the pillowcases automatically
  3. Working Process
    1. The operator puts the roll of material to be cut on the support at the entrance of the cutting group as follows
    2. Opens the safety door
    3. The calender group cylinder lifts automatically
    4. Feeds the material through the calender and closes the safety door by push button on the control panel
    5. Makes the fabric advance under the sewing mechanism and executes the first cut of the fabric in order to line the fabric
    6. Sets the length and number of panels to be cut
    7. Sets the selector in "automatic" on the control panel working mode and presses the start pushbutton
  4. Working Cycle
    1. The machine starts and the motorized calender moves the fabric forward to the preset measure
    2. The length of the fabric has to be double than the size of the pillowcase to be produced
    3. When the fabric arrives to the right length the cutter unit executes the transversal cut of the fabric automatically
    4. The clamp units fold the fabric and the conveyor belt moves it to the sewing machine for the lateral sewing
    5. The sewing machines are synchronized in order to work together
    6. They are fixed on a dolly to have the possibility to move them crosswise to manufacture pillowcases of different sizes
