Description

  1. Overview
    1. Single-door industrial ETO sterilizer with computerized SCADA control system.
    2. Compatible with ETO/CO2 premixed combinations: 10:90, 20:80, and 30:70 compositions.
    3. Sterilization process cycle includes product heating, humidification, pre-conditioning, pre-vacuum, vacuum hold, gas injection, gas exposure (sterilization hold), gas discharge, and post wash pulsing / air wash pulsing (aeration).
    4. Entire sterilization cycle software designed per latest ISO-11135 guidelines; process parameters and steps are fully programmable.
  2. Chamber
    1. Inner chamber effective material loading area size: 2250 mm (W) x 2250 mm (H) x 6290 mm (L).
    2. Material: 8 mm solid S.S.-304.
    3. Operating pressure: 1.0 kg/cm².
    4. Test pressure: 2.5 kg/cm².
    5. All necessary connections for sterilization process; connections to chamber made from machined steel.
    6. One digital temperature controller to control chamber temperature.
    7. One pressure-vacuum compound gauge to read chamber pressure.

  3. Jacket
    1. Material: M.S. limpet type.
    2. All connections to jacket made from S.S.-304.
    3. Hot water inlet and outlet connections for hot water circulation into the jacket.
    4. Water gallery gap between chamber and jacket: 50 mm.
    5. Epoxy painted from inside.
    6. Chamber to jacket frame of 16 mm plate; additional chamber support in water gallery and extra chamber to jacket frame provided to withstand heavy vacuum and pressure and counter sagging effect over longer run.

  8. Hot Water Tank (Insulated)

  11. Gas Conditioning System (Gas Vaporization)
    1. Gas vaporization coil of copper (tube) provided in hot water tank for conditioning gas before entering sterilization chamber.
    2. Loose S.S. braided pipe gas connection near vaporization tank provided.
    3. Pressure in the ETO inlet line provided.
  12. Gas Circulation - Distribution System
    1. Type: gas circulation blower, 2.0 HP.
    2. Gas circulation blower with motor and related piping with flanged type connections provided.
    3. Suction from one side of chamber, delivered to other side to ensure homogeneous gas circulation.
  13. Sterilizer Humidification System (Insulated)

  15. S.S.-304 Manual Roller System for Pallet Moving into Chamber
    1. Provided for pallet moving into chamber.
  16. Sensor Connection Ports and Inlet/Outlet Nozzles
    1. Sensor connection ports facility for: 1 pressure/vacuum, 10 temperatures, and 4 relative humidity gauges.
    2. Chamber nozzles for sterilization process inlet/outlets: vacuum, ETO inlet, steam inlet, air inlet, safety valves, compound gauge, gas circulation ports on either walls of chamber.
    3. Few additional (extra) ports for future provision.
  17. Electrical Control Panel
    1. Machined steel powder coated panel with all necessary indicators, MCBs, contactors, relays, digital temperature controller, switches, etc.
    2. Panel can be kept in utility control room away from sterilizer.
    3. Panel will be CSA and/or UL marked.
  18. Piping and Related Accessories
    1. Chamber piping manifolds with pneumatic valves provided.
    2. Piping beyond pneumatic valves to be provided by user.
    3. Additional pipes: GI for hot water circulation, SS pipes for steam inlet and ETO inlet lines provided.
    4. Other piping beyond pneumatic valves to be provided by user.
    5. For proper steam distribution for humidification, steam inlet piping (SS) provided inside sterilizer chamber.

  20. Process Automation Hardware
    1. Computer for process automation: application oriented configuration of instrumentation standards and compatibility, including related peripherals with enough memory, LED colour monitor, keyboard.

    1. Pressure/vacuum compound transducer: 1 quantity, make Honeywell (USA), -1 to 3 bar, 4 to 20 mA.
    2. Temperature sensors and transmitters: 10 quantity, make Jumo (Japan), 3-wire PT-100, 0-60°C, -5 to +5 VDC linear.
    3. Relative humidity sensor cum transmitter: 4 quantity, 0-100% RH, linear 0.8-3.9 VDC, make Honeywell (USA).
